Hi this is hscrooney and this is my first fanfic and I hope you like it! (don't get too angry though)
The sun rose above the Paranethon. Rome looked beautiful at this time of day. Most pedestrians were sleeping or looking drowsy. That was a good thing. From the sky, there came a winged thing. It looked like…. A pegasus. The winged horse dove and swooped from the figures sat on its back.
One was named Perseus. The other was Annabeth. They were riding, kind of tired, but still awake enough to be enjoying the moment. The enjoyment didn't last long. The Parenethon looked beautiful in this time of day, but the beautiful didn't last. They zoomed by windows and in and out of parks. They came to a stop in front of the Parenethon. "Annabeth,' said perseus, "We're here". Annabeth awoke quickly and looked in front of her.
It was a truly amazing sight. The thousands-of-year-old stone winked and flashed in the sunlight. For about 3 seconds the couple was happy. What could go wrong?
EVERYTHING! As they were about to go in for a closer look on Blackjack (the pegasus) something green-grey flashed. "Whatuhwhat" whispered Annabeth. Percy didn't respond. He was frozen. "Percy?' whispered Annabeth. Than she looked at the parenathon. It was moving. Something was in it. A green and grey object slithered out. "Percy?' said annabeth, even quieter than before. "Is that a- Droblik?"
Ok- droblicks are these mix of Drakons and Dragons. It's a winged reptile that breathes fire, flys, is huge, spews poison, and parylizes you. Now you know that. Back to the story.
The droblick hissed. It heard its name. Now it was going to come...
It sprang to the air. Flying, it dove straight for Percy and Annabeth. They rolled off Blackjack. The droblik's poison horribly melted Blackjack into a pile of poison.
"Blackjack?" said Percy in surprise. Right at that moment, the droblick struck. It dove straight for Percy as he opened his mouth. The poison was spat inside.
Instintictively, Percy swallowed. Annabeth rushed over to him with a backpack full of ambrosia and nectar. "It's no use." percy said. "Just rememmber...
