Chapter One

A single drop of silvery liquid forms. Every side is perfectly formed, perfectly smooth. It clings to the wood above as it grows ever so much larger. So big that it can no longer keep hold and slips off and lands straight into the bowl. The bowl immediately glows with a bright white light which moves at a speed much faster than regular light. This light moves through all other particles and the universe immediately expands infinitely. The universe can no longer support itself. Within absolutely no time everything ceases to exist.

One small cell found its way into another cell, one way or another.

Inside the cells, things smaller than cells intermingled. Everything came together the way it was supposed to. The two cells grew together. As one cell, they followed the instructions they had received but putting their separate instructions together. Individually, the instructions didn't make any sense. But when they were fit together in a certain way, the instructions would suddenly make sense.

The now singular cell, but very complicated cell, began to ingest more than what was usual. It grew in size and complexity. It created many more cells and gave them instructions to create more cells. The cells stayed formed in a certain group. The collection of cells took a very long time to grow, around nine months. When it was time, the cells around this group of cells began a set of new processes. The group of cells was pulled forwards slowly. Then it was no longer surrounded by other cells.

The group of cells began to receive very different experiences and followed its instructions as needed. But the group of cells often encountered something that the instructions did not give clear directions on what to do. So the cells made their own instructions. Over time, they created a very complicated list of reactions. Eventually it got to the point where two sets of instructions were needed: short term and long term. The group of cells had free will.

This group of cells was named Jason Andrew Hunt.
