Hard to understand
Their story is hard to understand, and not everyone knows about it. That's because it's Maka and Black*Star. Everyone knows that they are childhood friends, but no one knows why or how. However, one day Maka and Black*Star decided to tell their friends about how they became friends.
MAKA POV:
Black*Star and I started walking to Death-Bucks coffee so we could tell our curious friends about how Black*Star and I met. When I told Black*Star about telling our friends he was tense, but decided it was best to tell them. So here we are, standing in front of Death-Bucks and I looked at him. "Black*Star, are you sure you're ok with this?" I watched him nod with that big goofy grin of his as he spoke loudly,
"Of course Maka! Gods are ready for anything!" I couldn't help but laugh, he is always like this.
We walked into Death-Bucks slowly, and noticed our friends in a booth in the back. As soon as they saw us we waved, or I waved….Black*Star was standing on a table shouting about how godly he was. "Black*Star, don't make me Maka chop you!" He stopped moving and got off the table apologizing. We sat down next to our friends and the mood became serious.
I looked at Soul and Liz who were now in a relationship, and then I looked at Tsubaki, Black*Star's weapon. Kid was looking at us intently while Patty was coloring a giraffe. I then looked at my childhood friend, and crush. He nodded and began telling the story about how we became friends.
BLACK*STAR POV:
I looked at Maka and the gang as I became serious. I nodded to Maka telling her I was ready to tell them and I began. "Well it was about six years ago, I moved in down the street from Maka. I didn't really talk to her until I saw her at the community park reading a book." Soul grinned, "Of course she was reading." Maka pulled up a book and soul apologized, "Anyway, she was the only one at the park so I decided to talk to her. I walked up to her and said "Why are you reading at a park?" She just kept her eyes on the book. But she spoke quietly. "I like reading in quiet places." Is what she said." I looked at Maka who was smiling, she was probably remembering it. "So I told her she should just read at home but she looked at me and simply said no." Maka looked at me and began talking. "I remember you asked me "why not? Home is a great place to read." And I said "I don't want to go home" so you got me to play with you at the park."
She finished talking and I decided to continue for her. "Well after that we played at that park almost every day for about a month until one day I decided to surprise her by going to her house to take her to the park. That was when I heard screaming and glass breaking. I knew it was best to stay outside but I went in anyway." Maka looked at me and smiled, "Black*Star walked in through the door and started shouting loudly. That caused my parents to look at him and I remember he pulled me out of the house and took me to the park." I looked at her and grinned. "After we talked about what happened we went to my house and she had the best time ever."
Tsubaki was the first to speak, "Wow…Maka, Black*Star, I never knew I'm so sorry!" Maka and I shrugged it off. "It's ok! I'm still going to surpass god!" Maka laughed. She had such a cute laugh…OK todays the day! "Maka I need to talk to you." "Ok." We walked a few feet away from the others and I inhaled then exhaled. "Maka I like you." She blushed. "Black*Star, I don't-" I interrupted "It's ok if you don't like me back." She smiled. "I don't know what to say…I've liked you since we were kids." I smiled. "Really?" She nodded. "Will you go out with me Maka?" My face had already heated up and was getting hotter. "Of course!" She hugged me and the gang cheered for us. I simply rolled my eyes at them and hugged Maka back. I was just glad to have her.
