ANGEL TEARS

Over in the distance,

a broken angel sits.

She needs someone to help her,

before she quits.

Her face holds bruises,

slowly the tears start.

She's falling to pieces,

and it's breaking your heart.

She lives in total darkness,

her heart is filled with pain.

She looks at the other angels,

they're not the same.

She sits there so lonely,

her head in her hands.

She cries more angel tears,

and nobody understands.

Her wings have been damaged,

they won't let her fly.

It might be hard to believe,

but even angels cry.
