Author's Note: Hi, I'm back with a OkiKaguHiji story! I know, I know. Some of you knew that I had a lot of stories that I never had a chance to update it. I'm deeply sorry about it. For now, I'll update them some other time. So, don't worry! I'll update them. For this story, I noticed that there's not much HijiKagu story thou. So I made my own! Though, it's kinda obvious who she will ended up with. But one-sided love story is still good, right? Right? Ha. Anyway, enjoy this OkiKaguHiji with slight GinKagu!

Pairing: Main - Okita Sougo & Kagura. Minor - Hijikata Toshiro & Kagura.
Summary: Okita Sougo found another rival that would definitely held him back.
Chapter 1: Okita Sougo and Kagura.
They always bicker. He knew that and yet he felt an urge of throwing another tantrum on her and surprisingly, she would throw the tantrum back. This had been his hobby of annoying the heck out of Kagura. One of Sakata-sensei's relatives, or Okita Sougo thought.
It is known in Gintama High that Sakata-sensei and Kagura are living in the same roof ever since Kagura transferred in Gintama High. Those two relationship is unbreakable and yet Sougo always find a way to tease her about it.
Whether it's Sakata related or her past.
It never occurred to Sougo that Kagura must have been in a dark side, which a lot of things happened in the past that made Kagura what she is right now.
"Oi, China, you dropped your sanity."
That's how Sougo greeted her every single morning of their separate lives. Sougo would always throw the tantrum first and Kagura would continue it.
"Sanity? What are you talking about-aru?" Sougo always found that '-aru' of hers annoying but today it isn't. Strange.
"I believe your panties is sagged." That was a complete random.
"You don't believe. You shoved your dick in people's mouth-aru." Harsh.
Even though both of them becoming too mean to each other. They never stop throwing tantrum to each other. Whether Sougo threw a tantrum about her appearance or Kagura threw a tantrum about his playboy look.
"Would you guys stop flirting first thing in the morning? It's embarrassing." A low, monotone voice made an appearance between their usual bickering.
Kagura stops just to look at the person and brighten up when it was the person she was always, by means always, it's always, wanted to see in the morning.
"Ah, Gin-chan!"
"Don't call me like that when we are in school."
'Ah, they're flirting again.' It wasn't the first time that Sougo witness such a thing. It always like that. She smile upon seeing her Gin-chan. She would be hyper or happy just witnessing how happy Gin-chan is. It's always like that.
That never change.
"That's the bell, you brats. Sit in your seat or I'll assign you guys." The way he speaks makes everyone to move their feet to their seat of their choice. Of course Sougo tried so hard not to make any obvious action to sit besides Kagura.
"Oi, Sadist, why are you sitting here-aru?"
His head turn his left just to look at Kagura then went back to the front.
"Can't sit in my spot now?"
"It is not your seat in the first place, though."
"Who cares. It's my choice, not yours."
She didn't reply for a while.
"... Uh-huh."
Her short response made Sougo to feel disappointment in himself. Not going to throw a tantrum, eh?
A loud clear of throat was heard the moment Kagura respond. Their sensei, Sakata Gintoki, made it's way to his table and place both of his palm in the table. With a confident look, he stare down at his students. Some are his old students and there are a few new ones.
"You guys know me already so I don't need any introductions. First, I go by the name Sakata Gintoki. I like sweets. Especially strawberry milk."
"Didn't he said he wouldn't do any introductions."
A few mumbles was heard behind Sougo. Well, that's how Sakata-sensei is.
"Some of you might get a wrong idea about this so I'll clear this up. I'm living in the same roof as Kagura. That girl besides Sofa-kun."
"Sensei, it's Sougo."
"Yeah, whatever, Souichirou-kun."
"I said it's Sougo."
He let out a sigh when he felt a lot of eyes directly to Kagura. It never occurs to him that some of his classmate have a huge crush on the girl.
"Her dad is one of my colleague. So, she went and lived with me. Alright, enough about me. You, with a weird looking hair. What's your name? Introduce yourself."
'He never change.' Sougo thought and even though that Sakata-sensei is like that. A lot of students wants to be in his homeroom. Because in Sougo's opinion, he is great handling things.
"Ahem," A loud cough that made Sougo to went back to realm. "I am Kotaro Katsura. I am greatly thanked you all."
Sougo felt himself laughing since that guy just stammered some weird words that doesn't make any sense at all. First day of school is really that nerve wrecking?
"No, no, no!" Kotaro suddenly shouts and remain stood as he begins to re-do his speech. Even though there's a bit of stuttered words, its still good enough to lighten up the whole class.
After Kotaro's turn, Sougo started to get doze off and went to his own trance of dream.
Nothing particular there instead of Sougo finally killing Hijikata Toshiro, their vice-president in Gintama High.
"Oi, Souichirou-kun, it's your turn."
Sougo immediately broke from his trance and stood up abruptly, making the others to gasp at his sudden act. He look around before clearing his throat. "Okita Sougo. And sensei, it's Sougo, for the hundredth times. I'm the first captain in discipline district in here. So..." He begun to plaster his (most of the people there call it 'Okita's face'.) sadistic face and most of the people begun to shake in their seats.
"Sadist, don't stare the brats!"
"Don't tell me you're scared."
"I am not-aru."
"You are considered a brat."
"Shuddup!"
And they begun to bicker half way of Kagura's introduction until the last person in the room, which is Shimura Shinpachi. No one even paid attention, anyway.
"... And the formula of this equation is this. Be sure to make x the only variable in this equation."
Sougo stare up straight with boredom written in his face. Yep, it's Math, and none of his classmate paid attention. That teacher is such a boredom. What was his name again? Madao?
Oh. It was China who called him that.
'Speaking of China...' When Sougo turn his head just to check on Kagura, he saw the girl hiding behind the book, and eating some sushi.
This girl...
"Oi, China with a huge stomach and had a glutton problem, mind sharing those."
The moment his crimson eyes and her ocean blue eyes met, Sougo knew it wasn't just the sushi he wants. Her attention as well. And yet, Kagura shared her sushi and they ate secretly behind their Math textbook.
"Oi, Sougo, we're heading down in the student council room for meeting. Let's head together."
He never thought that leaving the classroom from their free time is such a pain now. He found it exciting before and right now. There is no exciting part leaving the room.
"Mm, be right there in a sec." He quickly stuff his books and notebooks in his bag before he sprint towards to his co-workers.
Before he exit the room, he grimace at Kagura, who is busy talking to Shimura Tae and some weird looking girl.
She never notice his disappearance anyway.
"Hijikata-san, I'm bored. Let's play 'Can I kill you, Hijikata-san'?"
When Sougo spin his chair to face their second in command, he knew there will be stuff flying towards his way.
"What kind of game is that anyway?!" Hijikata threw another one towards their secretary, Yamazaki, then glare down at him. "Oi, please, refrain your captain from creating such a dangerous games."
"It is not dangerous if Hijikata-san is the one 'it'."
"Stop it!"
And they continue on bickering while Sougo had this weird thing in his mind.
Why is it so lonely if China is not there with him?
"Then, I found a stray dog in the street-aru!"
"Oh, will Gin-san and you going to keep it?"
"Mm, I'm not sure yet."
"... Eh, are you deciding this on your own?"
"Gin-chan wouldn't mind!"
"Of course he will!"
Sougo witness how Shinpachi and Kagura had a conversation. It was normal and Kagura would be smiling widely towards the boy. Even though, it is not Sakata-sensei.
"Ah, Sadist. Fancy meeting you here-aru."
Her weird attitude that includes of her being so smug and annoying made another image in Sougo's mind. A delinquent Kagura.
"This is school, stupid. Of course I'll be here."
"By she means, why are you still here, Okita-san?"
It was Shinpachi who response, not China, and that irritates Sougo somehow.
"I'm just passing by if there's still students lurking around here."
"It's still 3-aru."
"I'm not talking to you." That harsh words of his. He really hates that part of him.
"Tch." She snap her head around so that she won't be facing Sougo anymore.
"Pardon Kagura-chan's attitude. We'll be leaving soon. We're just waiting for Gi- I mean, Sakata-sensei."
Sougo's eyes unknowingly blink at Shinpachi's words, "Are you living with them as well?"
"Uh, no." Shinpachi rub the back of his neck as he quickly response at Sougo's question. "I'm just visiting Kagura-chan. You know, she's been my friend ever since middle school."
That was new to him. Sougo knew that Kagura grew up in Kyoto before moving to Tokyo. So, that means Shinpachi also grew up in there?
"Oh, just be sure to close the door." He took a glance at Kagura before exiting the place towards to the student council's room.
From there, he watch Kagura and the other two walking towards the gate while they are laughing.
It feels weird for Sougo to have this kind of feeling. Jealousy, was it?
