And I'm back with another story. Time to write about my newest fandom! I'll try not to back out on this one!

She was finally going to get the Hero. She had come this far, and she wasn't backing out now. All she had to do was swipe a single hair from that goody two-shoes, and she'd be done.

"Volga!" she shouted to her right-hand man, the dragon knight from the caves.

"Yes, Lady Cia?" he responded, coming up behind her.

"Make sure that the Hero doesn't get to Zelda before I do."

"Yes, Lady Cia." He turned, ready to start his mission, but Cia called him back.

"And Volga?"

"Hmm?"

"Make sure he doesn't get hurt."

She could hear Volga sigh, but she ignored it. For now, she was going after Zelda.

"Link! Can you deal with the enemies coming from the north?" Princess Zelda called to the trainee.

"Can do, Princess!" he called back. She watched as the holder of Courage turned and sprinted off. The boy was something, that's for sure. It was an understatement to say that she liked him. She loved him, but it was mostly due to the Triforce of Wisdom. She wasn't going to make any moves on him yet, of course, but the time would come. She quickly focused back to the battle, mowing down enemies with her rapier and arrows. Suddenly, she felt her Triforce resonating. Link couldn't be back already, could he? she thought. I know he's fast, but he can't possibly be that fast.

She turned, and found herself face-to-face with the dark sorceress herself.

"Cia," she growled.

"Zelda! How good to see you, darling!" Cia said with a grin.

"I shall not let you escape!" Zelda cried, lunging forward. Cia quickly dodged and plucked a single hair from Zelda, who didn't seem to notice.

"Ah, I've certainly gotten what I need. Maybe we can hang out later, darling." With that, she teleported to a place unknown to Zelda.

"You really need to work on your aim," a voice said behind her.

She started, but calmed when she recognized the voice to be Link's.

She turned to address him. "Is that what you say to royalty, trainee?" she asked in her most serious tone, though it was a joke.

Link's face seemed to pale. "Of course not, Your Majesty. Forgive me."

Zelda laughed. "It was a joke, Link."

Link's face reddened. "...Right."

"This potion is made with ingredients known only to me. I would like it to stay that way." Wizzro stated, delicately taking Zelda's hair. He plucked a hair from Cia.

"But Wizzro-" she stopped short when she noticed Wizzro's one-eyed icy stare.

Noticing her anxiety, he rolled his eye and said, "I'll give it to you as soon as it's ready."

Cia sighed. "Fine. I'm going to find Volga."

It was really worrying her that Volga hadn't shown up yet. She didn't believe that the dragon knight would be so easily bested by the Hero.

But Link did have his moments.

The thought of her crush killing her right-hand man, maybe even...friend, unnerved her. Obviously, she would get over it if it were to happen, but handing Volga's position over to Wizzro didn't seem like the greatest idea.

She paced around the central hall of the temple, stopping to stroke the statue of Wolf Link. She was tired; she hadn't been getting a lot of sleep lately, although she didn't want to leave the central hall in case Volga returned. She stepped over the fence and into the wolf's exhibit, casually hopping up onto the cold stone statue where she lay on her back and stared at the ceiling.

She felt herself drifting off, but she fought it, knowing what would happen if she did fall asleep. The nightmares would return. The ones that told of the evil lord, Ganondorf, and warned her to sacrifice the Triforce of Power.

If she could guess, she would guess that it was Lana's work. Trying to reform her, so they could become as one.

It irked her; Lana's persistence. She took the side of that pesky Zelda, and as far as Cia knew, it wasn't for spying. Her other half had tried many times to confront her, and most times it ended with one of them fleeing the battlefield, mostly herself. And it was almost always Link who would finish the job.

She failed to notice the approaching footsteps as she thought about the evasive Hero.

"Ah-hem." a deep voice said, startling Cia out of her thoughts. She turned to see Volga, who was clutching his arm and grimacing.

"Goddesses! Why are you so late?" Cia asked, scowling at him.

"Well, I did exactly what you said, that's why I'm late," Volga said, obviously angry. "When I was trying to play nice, your Hero there went and stabbed me. I hope you're happy," he snarled.

"Link is one step closer to being mine. Of course I'm happy," Cia said, either not realizing or choosing to ignore Volga's sarcastic comment.

Volga huffed, spouting a flame at her incompetence. Women and their obsessions, he thought, limping away to his quarters.

Men and their attitudes, Cia thought.

He was finally going to do it. He was going to ask the Princess on a date. He had bathed, combed his hair, and grabbed a bouquet of flowers from Castle Town's new flower shop. After forty-one failed attempts, he promised himself (and Proxi) that forty-two would be his lucky number.

"Come on, Link! Don't be such a cucco!" Proxi said, nudging Link to make him walk faster. Not even the Triforce of Courage could prepare him for such a brave act, and his heart was hammering away in his chest like it was about to explode.

He wouldn't have been surprised if it had. He approached the Princess's double doors slowly, offering a weak smile to the guards, who smiled back at him in amusement.

"Back for another try, are we?" the one guard said.

Link nodded slowly, feeling a blush creep up.

Both of the guards chuckled. "Well, we sure wish you luck, bud."

By now, Link was standing right in front of the double doors, his hand poised to knock. He hesitated.

"50 Rupees he turns and bolts," the guard on his right whispered.

Link was almost about to pay the guard himself, but a nudge from Proxi prompted him to focus back on his mission.

"I'm already broke, dude!" the guard on his left whispered back, and Link welcomed the distraction.

"For Farore's sake!" Proxi cried, flying out from the collar of Link's tunic. She banged on the door herself, then quickly flew back to the safe viewing point of the tunic's collar.

Link suddenly had a cold sweat, and his hands were shaking. He almost did turn and bolt, but by the time he had made up his mind, the princess was already opening the door.

"Link," Proxi whispered. "Calm down. Your heart is giving me a headache!"

Zelda had opened the door. Link was now frozen in place, the roses he had bought clenched tightly in his left hand, which he had behind his back.

"Link?" Zelda asked, opening the door wider so they had more room to converse. "Is everything okay?"

Link had turned pale. A tickle from Proxi shook him out of his trance, and he realized the princess was speaking to him.

"What? I, uh, um..." His face was burning, and he could imagine how red it must be. "I have to go, um, but I brought you these!" He quickly shoved the roses into Zelda's hands and immediately turned and ran as fast as his legs would carry him.

Zelda could only stare after his fleeing figure, confused. Had he been trying to ask her on a date? She wondered how many tries it had taken him to be able to at least say something to her before taking off.

The two guards were having trouble holding back laughter, but Zelda silenced them by raising a hand. The poor boy would probably be avoiding her for a while. She sighed and turned to close the doors.

Inside her room, she brought the roses up to her nose and breathed in their scent, smiling as she thought about the young man who gave them to her.

Link slammed the door behind him, his face still burning and his heart going into overdrive. He took a deep breath threw himself on the bed, bringing his arms up in defeat.

"Why can't I do this! Stupid Triforce! You failed me!" he screamed into his pillow, then turned to glare at the back of his left hand where the Triforce symbol glowed faintly.

Proxi had flown out from his tunic and began to fly above his head. "Aww, come on, Link! You were so close this time, too!"

Link began pulling at his hair, his eyes clenched shut and a scowl on his face. "I don't know what to do anymore, Proxi," he sighed. "She probably hates me, too. I've wasted my Rupees on someone who doesn't even love me!"

Proxi flew in front of his face. "Come on now, Link. She obviously likes you. The whole castle knows it!" she exclaimed, trying to cheer him up. Not getting a reaction, she tried a different tactic.

"Okay, well maybe I'll just have to bring her to you."

Link opened his eyes. "Yeah, have fun with that," he mumbled.

Proxi started towards the door. "Don't make me do it..." she joked.

Link didn't respond.

"I'm going to open the door..." she said, waiting for a reaction.

"I'm opening the door..!" Proxi said, turning the handle. "I'm going...going...almost gone-"

"Wait!" Link finally cried. Proxi stopped and faced him, excited for her success.

"I'll try again tomorrow, okay?" Link promised.

Proxi flew into his face again. "You sure? Because if you don't, I'll write it all over your forehead that you love the princess!"

Link stared her down, as if to challenge her.

Minutes seemed to pass before Proxi finally said, "You know I will."

Link gave in and averted his gaze. "Yeah, unfortunately I do," he sighed.

"Cia! Cia! It's done!" Wizzro cackled, floating up to his commander.

Cia almost fell off of the statue in her excitement. "It's about time! Give it to me!" she shouted, grabbing the potion from the wizard.

"Wait, wait! I need to perform a ritual!" the wizard said as Cia brought the bottle up to her lips.

Cia lowered the bottle and sighed. How much longer did she have to wait? It was already almost dark, and she didn't have much patience left. She tapped her foot impatiently and waited for an explanation from Wizzro.

The wizard pulled out a small dish of a black, goo-like substance.

Cia plugged her nose at the acrid stench. "Ugh, it smells revolting! What is it?"

The wizard groaned. "I can't tell you that either! You're just going to have to trust me for a little bit. Is that so hard to ask?"

Cia contemplated. "Fine!" she concluded. She wasn't going to wait any longer.

"Then sit!" the wizard commanded.

Cia sat down obediently.

"Close your eyes, and think about the one you want to switch with. You must remove all other thoughts!" he said, sliding a finger through the goo.

Cia obeyed, closing her eyes and thinking clearly of Zelda. Images of Link threatened to pass through her mind, but she drowned them out as she thought of all the hate and jealousy directed toward the princess.

She flinched at the icy feeling of the goo that the wizard rubbed on her face, but reminded herself that she needed to think of Zelda and nothing else.

"Drink," Wizzro said, bringing the bottle of the dark liquid up to her mouth. "Keep thinking of your target. Not the taste of the potion."

Cia focused hard, and swallowed the contents of the bottle without a second thought. She couldn't afford a second thought, anyway.

The wizard started talking in a different tongue, a language she assumed was ancient and full of magic. Zelda! she thought frantically. There was no time to assume things!

A few seconds passed of extreme concentration and magic words.

"You can open your eyes," the wizard said.

Cia was still concentrating.

He nudged her. "I said you can open your eyes!"

Cia immediately straightened up and looked around. "Is it complete?"

"Give it a few seconds," the wizard said. "Oh, and try to stay away from the Master Sword. It will likely reverse the transformation."

"But how can I resist his Master Sword?" Cia asked in a drunken state.

Wizzro facepalmed.

Cia began to feel light-headed, and suddenly the world turned black.

Zelda thanked the maid for the vase, then gently set the roses into it. If Link was too afraid to come to her, then she would have to take the first step. She pulled out a piece of paper and a feather pen from the drawer, then began to write.

Pausing at the word 'the,' she tapped the pen against her chin as she thought of a good place for them to meet. She placed the pen back on the paper, still deciding what to write. Suddenly, she began to feel woozy, and the world started to spin.

"Link..." she mumbled, then the floor came up to meet her.

Cia blinked, and immediately gasped in shock. She was inside the castle, in the royal chambers. Looking down at her hands, she let her eyes fall upon her outfit. Disgusting...barely any revealing areas of it. How did Zelda manage to seduce the Hero in a getup like this? She sighed and got rid of the thought.

Looking around, she noticed a mirror on the right side of the room, next to the bed, and a small nightstand right in front of her. On the nightstand sat a vase of roses with a note underneath it. She examined the note, which was addressed to the very person she was there for. She opened it and read the neat handwriting, which said:

Dear Link,

I am sorry about earlier. I wish you would have stayed. I don't bite, you know! The guards are saying that you've been wanting to ask me to a date, but since you don't seem to have the courage, I figured I would help. I would love to go on a date with you, so don't be shy! Meet me tonight at the-

At the end of the word 'the' there was a ragged line that zipped across the page and then straight down. Zelda must have been in the middle of writing it when Cia had switched bodies with her. Looking down, she discovered the pen that was likely the one the princess had been writing with. Cia set the note back down. He'll be meeting me as soon as I find out where he is, she thought.

She quickly examined herself in the mirror she had noticed before, looking in awe at her body. She was Princess Zelda and looked every inch of it. But enough about looks. All she wanted was the Hero, and she would get what she came for. How she wanted to explore him like a map, discover every secret and explore every inch.

She threw open the double doors of her room proudly, before realizing she had no idea where Link stayed. The two guards who stood at the doors jumped at the sudden noise, and they both looked in shock and confusion as Cia went from looking proud to a complete idiot.

"...May we help you with something, Your Majesty?" one of them asked.

Oooh, Your Majesty? That's certainly a nice touch. "Yes, I was, uh, wondering where Link is. I have important information to discuss with him."

The guards looked at each other and smiled before the same guard responded, "Left from here, take the second right you see in the hallway, and it should be the first door on the right."

"Ah, thank you." Cia said, throwing them a smile. She followed their directions and soon came upon the door that hopefully led to the person she was looking for. Without knocking, she threw open the door-which wasn't locked, thankfully-and stepped inside.

Zelda gasped. What had happened? She was...what was she doing? Her memories were a blur, and everything was dark and hazy.

"Lady Cia?" a voice asked. She opened her eyes, which she hadn't realized were closed, and took a gulp of air as if she had been choking. She coughed and sat up, rubbing her temples.

She turned to the side and noticed a statue of a wolf. Wait, that was no ordinary wolf...the intricate markings, the shackle, the mane...that was Wolf Link! She gasped, the first thought coming to her mind was that somehow the Twilight had cursed him again and he was stuck as a wolf, then turned into a statue. Obviously the Triforce of Wisdom did not make the trip along with her.

"Link!" she squeaked, throwing her arms around the wolf's broad stone neck.

"...Cia?" the same voice called again, this time sounding a bit nervous.

Zelda was frightened enough to lash out at whoever was behind her. She felt her hand smack against something warm, warmer than regular human skin.

"Ow!" the figure exclaimed. She focused on who it was she had just slapped and gasped.

"You're...Volga, from the caves..." she breathed. The dragon knight, one of Cia's henchmen!

Hmm...Cia. I bet she's behind all of this! Zelda checked herself for a weapon, but stopped when she noticed what she was wearing and screamed.

"What...What is this?!" Zelda gasped, nearly gagging. Volga was standing there; staring, she assumed, but she couldn't tell because of the dragon helmet that covered his eyes.

Assuming he was staring, she crossed her arms over her chest that the dress she was wearing was revealing too much of.

"Stop staring at me!" she screamed at him, turning around to cover herself. She took a deep breath to calm herself, trying to figure out exactly what was going on.

She turned to face Volga. "Get me a mirror," she snapped at him, hoping that her hunch wasn't correct.

"Um..." he started, but a glare from Zelda caused him to simply shake his head and say, "Fine."

He returned shortly with a small hand-held mirror. She wrenched it out of the dragon knight's grasp and held it in front of her face, gasping as she saw who looked back at her.

Her hunch had been correct.

Cia stopped, her jaw dropping as she saw the Hero, who was likely about to get into bed. He had no shirt on, and Cia was staring at his chest like it was the Holy Grail.

Link's face turned white, and he could only look awkwardly at her, coughing uncomfortably as he noticed she was staring at his bare chest. "Y-your Majesty...Um, what brings-" he was cut short as Cia pinned him against the wall.

"You have managed to elude my grasp too many times, boy. It's about time I make you mine forever," Cia said, wrapping her arms around the back of his neck. Link was struggling against her, but she had him pinned, and she wasn't letting go anytime soon.

"Your Majesty, I must insist-" he started, but Cia interrupted him.

"Shut up. Just shut up," she said. Before he had time to react, she already had her lips over his and her body pressed firmly against his own, keeping him trapped. His only option was to go along with it, and it was getting more awkward by the second. Proxi was obviously right; Zelda did love him, but he wasn't appreciating how she was showing it.

As Cia stopped to take a quick breath, Link gulped in as much air as he could gather inside of his lungs. He then quickly placed his hands on her shoulders, pushing her off of him.

"Your Majesty," he panted. "Are you okay? I'm sorry for earlier but I-"

"No." Cia interrupted, this time throwing him upon the bed. She instantly got right up on top of him, not wanting him to escape. She ripped off the dress, now only being in her undergarments.

"Princess Zelda!" Link choked out, seeing what was most likely going to happen. He was losing all respect for her royal lines, and gathered his strength to push her off of him yet again.

He pushed Cia against the wall, sheer strength keeping her in place. "This has to stop." Link said, his tone deadly serious. Why was the Princess acting so out of character? Link had always wanted to get a kiss from her, which was his secret and what he had been trying to accomplish, but what was just about to happen was taking it too far.

Cia was at a loss for words. She had let her greed get the better of her, and now the very one she wanted to impress was instead disgusted and currently had her pinned against the wall. She tried the only thing she could think of.

"Link, please...I don't know what came over me, I...I'm sorry!" she blurted out, trying to get herself to cry. The thought of being rejected by the one she wanted certainly did the job. She could feel Link loosen his grip on her, and she allowed herself to slide down to the floor, burying her face in her hands.

Link sighed. "It's alright. Just...don't do that. I'm not ready for this, okay?" He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, which prompted her to look at him through her now-puffy eyes. Cia had another trick up her sleeve, though.

"I...I had a bad dream. I was wondering if I could spend the night with you...to, well, keep the nightmares from coming back?" Cia said, giving Link the saddest, most depressed face she could muster. It was mostly true, after all.

"Princess, I..." he tried to decline, but the look she was giving him turned his thoughts around. "Alright, fine. But don't try anything like that," he said, Cia knowing exactly what he meant.

It's too bad...he's a great kisser, she thought. Link shook his head and picked the dress up off of the floor, forgetting entirely on what he had tried earlier in the day. For now, he was half disgusted with what Zelda had just done, and he wasn't sure if it'd be so easy to forget about.

"And go get something decent to wear," he said, throwing the dress to her. She nodded, sniffling, and slipped the dress back over her body.

"Thank you, Link," Cia said, opening the door. She promised herself to be more careful with him. She would just have to wait for him to step out of his comfort zone, and then she would really give it to him. She could only hope that Wizzro would keep Zelda piped down so Cia could finish what she started.

Cia hurried down the hall, retracing her steps. She ignored the guards, who gave her a skeptical look, and nearly slammed the doors behind her. She found the closet, in the back of the room, and opened it quickly. She sifted through the clothes, hoping to find a nightgown that was at least somewhat revealing. She was going to cherish this night, and if she was lucky, she would keep up with the nightmare excuse and maybe be able to permanently move in with him. Well, permanently until she could smuggle him out of the castle with her.

Finding a smaller, black nightgown, she hurriedly wiggled out of the dress and pulled the nightgown over her head. It showed off her figure proudly, and Cia took a quick look at herself in the mirror. At least Zelda was good at staying fit.

Not caring to clean up the mess of clothes she had made, she flung open the double doors yet again, but was halted by the guards.

"May I inquire where you're going, Your Majesty? We must know where you are at all times. Safety reasons, you must understand," one of the guards said.

Cia bit her lip as she thought of a lie. "Um, me and Link are having a pijama party! Oh, and a pillow fight. Can't forget about the pillow fight...hehe..." she looked at the guards, who gave her skeptical looks. She needed something better. Or something more...commanding.

"Need I remind you that I am a princess? I can take care of myself, and I'm sure Link won't have a problem protecting me, either, if it comes to that."

The guard who was doing the talking looked like he was about to argue, but he swallowed it. "I'm sure he won't, Your Majesty." The guard smiled as if he knew something she didn't. "We will remain here to make sure none of your items are stolen. Just a reminder that we have been under siege for a while now, but I'm sure the castle will be safe. Enjoy your pijama party and pillow fight, Your Majesty."

Cia nodded curtly and then immediately turned and walked briskly into the hallway. She soon arrived at Link's room, and this time she stopped and knocked.

Link opened the door and fixed her with a stare. "There are rules. No kissing, no going through my stuff, and no sex. You got that?"

Cia nodded, trying to be as sincere as possible. When he mentioned 'going through my stuff,' she was instantly intrigued. She wondered if he had a diary, or something she could get her hands on to learn everything she didn't already know about the young man.

He smiled. "Okay. You can come in. But we're going right to bed, because I'm tired. Don't wake me up unless it's a complete emergency, because I like my sleep. Agreed?"

Cia smiled and nodded. "Agreed."

Link smiled again and moved so she could enter. "I knew you'd understand. Now, you get into bed and you stay there unless you need to go to the bathroom or we're under attack. And if you need to go to the bathroom, you go without waking me up. Those are my policies. Follow them, and we'll have a nice night. Don't follow them and...well, we won't be having a nice night. That's it."

Cia nodded and gingerly hopped into Link's bed. She was hoping she wouldn't wake up during the night and have to go to the bathroom, because she had no idea where it was. She forgot about her worries as Link settled in beside her. His back was facing her, and she had the urge to roll him over so she could see that glorious chest of his. Fighting the urge back, she settled on playing a different card, one that he would hopefully fall for.

"Link? I'm...kinda cold." She heard Link sigh beside her.

"I'm not much of a cuddler, Princess," he replied, but his feelings for her were coming back to haunt him.

Cia pretended to be hurt by this and said, "Oh. Okay. Sorry for bothering you..."

Link groaned softly and turned to face her, giving in to his feelings. "Fine. Turn around."

Jackpot! Cia thought. She obeyed and sighed in contempt as she felt his arms wrap around her torso.

"Are you warmer now?" he mumbled.

"Much. Thanks." Cia gently brought her arms up and placed her hands over Link's to ensure that he wouldn't pull away. She felt Link flinch as she brought her hands down over his, but he didn't object. For once, sleep came easy that night.

Cia wasn't sure exactly when she fell asleep, but it was earlier than she normally did. Sunlight filtered through the only window in the room, but she ignored it. She discovered that Link's arms were still wrapped around her torso. Content, she was about to slip back into sleep again, but was jerked fully awake by the sound of footsteps in the hall.

To her dismay, the footsteps stopped right outside of the door, and there was a quick knock before the door handle was turned.

"Link, we can't seem to find the Princess, but the guards are saying-" the person stopped as they saw her and Link cuddled up together. Eyes adjusting to the light, Cia could make out that the figure was female, with a long braid and-wait. Impa. That was her name. Zelda's bodyguard. From what she had seen, Impa could be quite the grumpy one, and she definitely took her job seriously.

Goddesses know what was going to happen to her now.

"...What is the meaning of this?" Impa asked, and her eyes narrowed as Link snored in response.

The tall warrior threw a pillow at Link's face. Disturbed out of his sleep, he moaned, "I told you not to wake me up, Princess."

"Umm..." Cia said, not quite sure what to do in that situation. "Link, I think you should wake up now. It's an emergency."

"Are Aeralfos' storming the castle?!" Link exclaimed, suddenly fully awake.

"It's worse than that, boy," Impa spat. "Care to explain this?" She gestured to him and Cia.

Link turned white as a sheet as he remembered the events leading up to the current situation.

"I, uh..." he started, glancing between Cia and Impa.

"And to think I trusted you. Probably didn't even use protection, now, did you?" Impa snapped.

Link's face burned a bright red. "I-we-WE DID NOT! I know what you're thinking, but we did NOT!"

Well...we almost did... Cia thought, but there was no way she was going to say anything.

Impa simply ignored him. "As for you, young lady, you should be ashamed of yourself! I did not raise you to have sex with men you have only just met!"

...She was in so much trouble. Oh, so much. Really screwed herself up this time. She decided to take the blame rather than reveal herself. She would have other chances, and she would be sure to take them.

"You're grounded! A month! You are not allowed anywhere near that boy, and I'll make sure of it."

Cia was getting impatient. She just wanted a snarky comeback, and she would get it. "Oh yeah? And what good will that do, huh? What happens when I'm all alone on the battlefield and he's the only one that can save me, huh?"

Impa fixed her with an icy glare. "You won't be saying that when you're pregnant and he ditches you."

Cia scoffed. This woman was a real pain.

Link's eyes were narrowed, and he was looking back and forth between Impa and Cia, as if deciding who to aid. He just settled with crossing his arms.

Impa turned to Link and shoved a finger against his chest. "And you, boy, will not be seen even in the same room as the Princess here, or you'll be getting your butt kicked. Are we clear?"

Link held Impa's glare. "No, Impa, I don't believe we are. Have you forgotten that the Princess here is royalty and therefore has a say in decisions?" he growled back.

Link was sticking up for her? She didn't quite expect that, especially after what she tried on him the previous night.

"And I would never abandon Princess Zelda, pregnant or not." Link stated.

Cia was so close to going over there and kissing him, not because of her obsession with him, but because of his loyalty and courage.

"I'm sorry, Impa, but I have to take sides with Zelda," Link said, walking over and standing next to Cia. She looked at his expression out of the corner of her eye, noticing how brave he looked with his chin raised and his gaze equalled with Impa's. She raised her chin as well.

"I see how it is, children." Impa said, her eyes narrowed. "I'll just have to give you a time-out, then."

Cia and Link both found themselves in the dungeon, on opposite sides of the castle.

Cia kicked stones around her cell, mumbling to herself. Her plan had gone totally wrong, her perfect night with Link was ruined, and now she was stuck in the dungeons. To top it off, the guards weren't stupid enough to fall for her tricks.

All she wanted to do was get Link and get out of there.

Maybe if I just think about him... she thought.

She imagined him in her head, the lovliest golden, blonde hair, the sparkling blue eyes, oh, and his chest. Of course the chest. The determined look that always seemed to be on his face. And the Triforce, of course. Wait...the Triforce. Could she still possess the Triforce of Power? Or would she have Zelda's Triforce of Wisdom? She checked the back of her hand. Power would be really helpful at the moment.

Or...no sign of the Triforce at all. Well that really helped. She sighed and sat down on the bunk in her cell and closed her eyes.

Link sat alone in the corner of the cell, eyes narrowed and arms crossed. He couldn't believe he allowed Impa to treat both him and Princess Zelda like a child. Time-out, she says. Urgh! he thought.

"Psst, Link! Hey, Link!" he heard, and he looked up to see his fairy companion, Proxi.

Link looked at her in surprise before asking, "Proxi? What in Hyrule are you doing here?"

"I was gonna ask you the same thing!" she whispered. She was small enough to slip through the bars of the cell and did so, flying in front of Link's face.

"Well?" she asked. "What did you do this time?"

He bit his lip. He didn't really want to talk about what happened last night. "I, well..."

Proxi sighed. "I can take a hint. Was it bad enough that you really needed to be locked up for it?"

"Yes and no. Let's just say Impa rose to conclusions too quickly," Link said, scratching the back of his neck.

Proxi turned around as she heard the footsteps of an approaching guard. "Well, I'm gonna bust ya outta here. Wish me luck!" she whispered.

Link watched as Proxi flew forward through the bars and slowly lifted the set of keys from the guard's pocket. Link and Proxi waited for the guard to turn down the hall, then Proxi flew to the bars. Link got up and took the keys from her, reaching his hand out to stick a key into the lock. There was a total of five keys, one of which would probably be useful for getting Princess Zelda out. How he was going to reach her was the question.

The lock turned on the third key he tried. "Proxi, go see if you can find Princess Zelda. Be careful. Come back when you find her."

"Should I take the keys?" Proxi asked.

Link thought for a minute. "No. I don't need you getting caught."

Proxi seemed to nod, then zipped down the hallway and out of sight.
