PREDESTINATION

Summary: Asuka Tenjouin believes destiny isn't absolute... but is she right?
Asuka sweated slightly as she looked the field over.
Manjoume had Hell's White. Armed Dragon LV3. His hand was shown to be Armed Dragon LV5, Hell Polymer, and Level Modulation.
She had Angel Wing. Cyber Tutu. And her set Pure Pupil. But the real question 'How did he iknow/i I had Pure Pupil set?' She worried to herself.
'There was no logical way he could know what my set card was. I mean, this light nonsense he's spouting can't be true. He's got to be cheating.' She told herself, soundly firm with certainty.
But... she could see nothing out of the ordinary. The entire place looked legit and legal. 'He couldn't of altered the Obelisk Blue arena that quickly.' But then she reminded herself of just how quickly Obelisk Blue had been painted white in a mere morning.
'There's something disgusting radiating from Manjoume. It's such an oppressive feeling. As if the weight of the world is trying to crush me. Wait...' She tried to focus on Manjoume, when she saw something. 'I think that's a shadow of a man looming over a wheel? Why are they behind him? And who is that? I'm not even near him, and I can feel that man-thing digging into me. It's like it's trying to swallow me up in a gulp.'
Tenjouin Asuka shivered slightly in shock. What she felt was horrible. The feeling felt so warm but at the same time,it hurt to feel the sensations. She could feel it was trying to do something. Even at this distance, the feeling felt like was trying to do something...
'Why is it trying to make me into something I'm not. So commanding. So authorative. I feel like I'm just a pawn, capable of being toppled over at a moment's notice. Could Manjoume and the rest here be right? Could there really be a thing such as destiny?'
But then her face changed as it hardened.
'... What a load of crap! If there's such a thing as destiny, no one but myself will decide it for me. Not the ones I love and like. Juudai doesn't make my destiny. My brother doesn't make my destiny. I'd rather die than let Manjoume of all people start deciding my life for me!'
But on the other side of the field Manjoume had different thoughts.
'Still denying destiny, I take it, Tenjouin-kun?' Manjoume thought smiling. 'I think that's just enough.' He drew his next card. Level Down! appeared. 'I'll break your back like a common dog. No one in this arena can resist the perfect destiny of light! I've foreseen it, you're mine!'
