He always left her breathless.
Whether it was through the intensity of his dark, hooded gaze, or the way slender, calloused fingers would linger momentary on his kunai before the weapon would embed itself in a target.
Or the way he would walk home, his hands stuck casually in his pockets, or the way he would look towards the rumbling heavens when the first drop of rain fell.
Or the way his breath would sweep across her shoulder or the way his kisses would never linger in one spot for too long.
But what took her breath away the most was how he could say so many things without wasting a single word.
