There was a distant sound beating furiously in my ears, it sounded just like a storm but it was too far away and my body was too taken by sleep... Little by little I was able to fully wake up and was able to listen to my surroundings. Opening my eyes, I noticed that it was dark, very dark and I was surrounded by trees.
There was a storm going on and my body was soaking wet, especially my hair which dripped into my eyes. I was sleeping on the floor! Pulling my body from the ground I looked from right to left, wondering where I was and what was happening. The wind was howling past me and chilling my bones so I figured that I shouldn't stand here for a long time.
I'm trapped in a storm? How did I get here? ...and where is 'here'? I realized that I had my school bag with me but I couldn't remember how I got here. I don''t remember going to the forest...
A light captured my attention Wait...There's the lighthouse...I'll be safe if I can make it there... I hope...Please let me make it there... Standing my ground against the wind which threatend to make me fall I started to make my way to the lighthouse. A sign with the label 'lighthouse' pointed up the stairs. Taking a deep breath and using my hand to protect my eyes from the water I took the stairs.
Come on Max, you can make it. I gritted my teeth.
As I got closer to the lighthouse and the trees started opening up I felt the wind beat up my body harder and harder, making it almost imposible for me to keep going but I didn't give up, the lighthouse was the only place that would keep me safe. However, when I reached the cliff all I could do was stare in awe. Holy shit. Towering over me was an enormous hurricane. I new that it was the end, I could feel it beckoning me and the wind was so strong that I wouldn't stand a chance. The urgency of the situation made my feet move faster and I neared the lighthouse with the sound of thunder seeming to laugh at me.
Suddenly, a small boat was sent against the lighthouse and it started to break down. All I could do while I saw the pieces fall on top of me was think No!
