:I own nothing:
"Jonathan!" Charlotte yelled.
"Charlotte!" Jonathan said.
"Thousand Knives!" The screamed in unison.
The duo flawlessly performed the spell as the vampire hunter threw an endless supply of knives at their enemies. The young sorceress gave him the strength, and the knives, to combat and destroy all the unholy creatures in their path. They made a great team and they knew it. There's only one emotion that could intentionally destroy a team, however, and the young witch was starting to feel it bloom full force.
"Love... My love." She said under she breath as the sight of Jonathan throwing knives captivated her. Once the spell was broken, he caught his breath and looked at the destruction he caused.
"Wow, I did that?" He said.
"We did that, Jonathan." She said as she walked by him and held out her book.
"Got it!" She said as another spell was sealed.
She knew she had feelings for the hunter, but she couldn't show them. They have a task to complete. They have a castle to destroy. Of what use could her feelings serve them. They are only to get in the way, and she needs a clear head if they were going to survive. She couldn't tell him, this isn't the place for romance. This is a place of sin, death, and corruption. Not a place for love. Even her ancestor Sypha knew that. Why was this getting harder, though. Even though she a master of sealing things, her feelings couldn't be sealed.
"We'll set up camp here for tonight." Jonathan said as he fortified a wall.
"Ah yes, an empty room, a young girl, and a spooky castle... You're not going to try something tonight, are you Vampire Hunter?" She teased as she scanned his face for his reaction.
"No, I have no intention of doing that with you, Charlotte. We at least need some rest." Said Jonathan as he found an empty corner and sat down.
"Well, I'm sorry I'm not more desirable." Charlotte scowled.
"You've been reading too many romance novels, they're not good for a kid like you." He laughed.
"I am NOT A CHILD Jonathan!" She said as she grabbed her broom for a quick solution to his laughing.
"Hold it, I was only playing! Don't kill me, at least until we're out of this castle. Lay down and get some sleep. You need it more than I do." He said as he propped himself against the wall.
'I kind of wish he would try something, although this isn't the most romantic spot in the world. What I wouldn't give for a nice satin-sheeted bed right now.' Charlotte thought to herself as she felt her body loosen up and give in to slumber.
She opened her eyes to see what her heart desired. A red satin laced bed with roses sputtered about hap-haphazardly. Wine in a ice-holder with two glasses on the counter, and a blonde man in a red jacket standing next to her. She almost couldn't believe it. She wanted to say something, but he shushed her with his finger and picked her up off her feet to lay her on the rose petals. She softly moan as he bent down to kiss her gently on the lips. He rose up just to have her pull him close again. Her body felt as if it were on fire. Lust was quickly overtaking her as her body moved to embrace him more. She wanted more. She wanted so much to feel him, every part of him.
"Oh, Jonathan." she said in the sweetest of voices.
"Please Jonathan, take me."
Her body felt heavy as she woke. It couldn't have been just a few hours since she had fallen asleep. She looked over to see if Jonathan was awake yet, but he was sound asleep. She could feel her arousal from that dream, she could still feel him. She wanted that feeling again... but they have a castle to destroy.
Author's note: Let me know how I did in a review. I want to finish this and get it off my mind, but I lack inspiration. INSPIRE ME!
