A small figure was huddling in a corner crying, trembling, and fearing for its life. Foot steps were herd. A door opened, a crack of light shone on the figure. She was beaten, bloody and bruised. This figure was Rukia…
"Where the hell is she??" Renji yelled. He was in complete panic mode. Rukia had been gone for 3 days. Byakuya sat there with no emotion on his face, as usual… And Ichigo smiled at Renji's antics. Renji was pacing around, sweating and saying random things like 'Pickles!' or 'Cream Cheese!'.
"We need to find her!" Renji yelled.
"We can't unless we're told to." Byakuya said in a monotone.
"Screw the rules! Rukia is missing!! Her assignment she had was only a one day thing!"
"Well I think we should go and try to find her. If it calms Renji down." Ichigo said.
"Good!" Renji said. He grabbed his Zanpaktuo and ran out the door.
"Your letting him go alone, aren't you?" Byakuya inquired.
"Mhmm." Ichigo said and left.
Byakuya stood. 'Find my sister and be safe.' he thought. (A/N: A little OOC. But that's what makes the story touching)
Renji ran as fast as he could. Only one problem… He didn't remember where she went. He looked behind him to ask Byakuya… No one was there…
"Damn bastards…" He said. Renji sat and tried to remember where she went…Nothin'. Wait… She want off to deal with 3 weak Hollows. She went…
"That way!" Renji said triumphantly. And he hurried off to the north.
Rukia trembled in fear as a man walked in to the room. He smiled malevolently. The entire assignment went bad after Rukia had finished off the Hollows. She began walking home and a man grabbed her… and that was all she could remember. She shivered as the man grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her out of the room. The man then picked her up and threw her on a table. She flinched. Rukia tried to think of a way to get out of this mess. A hand ran down her side, then stomach. Se let her leg fly, intending to hit her attacker. Unfortunately, he caught her leg. And as easy as you break a twig, he snapped her leg. Pain racked through Rukia. She screamed at the top of her lungs. The man laughed. Tears ran down her face as a throbbing pain caused her to scream again.
Renji paused, he saw a small shack. Then he heard a loud scream… Sounded a lot like Rukia…Another scream.
"RUKIA!!" Renji ran toward the shack.
Rukia laid on the table crying in pain and yelling for help. The man's hand ran across her chest. BOOM! The door fell. The man stopped, and looked up. Renji stood there looking really pissed.
"Take your hands off of her now…" Renji said in a low, dangerous voice.
"R-Renji…" Rukia choked out.
The man walked over to Renji. Renji lashed out his fist, it contacted with the man's face.
"If you want to live, leave now with the wound you have now and never speak of this again." Renji said quickly.
The man stood and went back over to Rukia. Renji had enough of this game. He took out his Zanpaktuo and slashed the man's arm. The man proceeded to advance on Renji by attacking. Renji dodged his slow attacks with ease. Then the man lunged at Renji. He slashed wildly, hitting and killing the man. Renji froze…Ooops…
Rukia sat up painfully.
"Why…ow… Did you do that?" She almost fell off the table. Renji caught her with ease and began walking out.
"Because. I.. I…I…I love you. And the only person I want to touch you like that is me…" Renji said quietly.
"Oh, well that's good." Rukia said. She placed her hand behind Renji's head and pulled it down.
"Because that's exactly how I feel." She gently kissed him, Renji smiled in to the kiss. When they pulled away, Rukia flinched. Her leg… Renji began running as fast as he could.
"Renji, don't ever leave me…"
" I won't love, I won't."
