The large, cloaked man stood laughing at my expressions as I asked again. "What happened," the words echoed harder, as my voice grew serious.
"She gave her life for you. Stupid choice, as you won't even make it to the next day," the Game master responded, smirking.
"What," my voice grew even more harsh, my eyes narrowed, and I stood up, still looking up at the man. I was only fifteen, and he seemed to be 35, at least, so he had some advantage.
Things seemed to stop making sense. My mind was racing, and things began to drop out. I began to hallucinate, I could swear that I was seeing a crimson-scarlet fox sitting behind the man, smiling. I continued "What the HELL kind of bullshit did you tell her to force her to choose this, we had an agreement that her life, th-that her life-"
My body began trembling, and it was obvious that I had no energy left. I gathered myself together, and steadied myself, continuing my sentence," That her life was worth more, and that she had to win the game." Now that I look back, I cannot remember what the difference even is between our lives.
He smirked, "She simply believed that you had more value than she did. Who am I to disagree?"
I moved closer, lifting him up with one hand. I knew that something was happening, as I was not nearly this strong when I was at full power. I looked him in the eyes, and barked, "You really are a cold bastard. I think," I lifted him up, "that you should should sit," my arm wound up, "in a corner like the DOG you are," I threw him across the room, his body smashing into the corner across form me.
He got up, fixed his glasses, and walked back to me, "Interesting development, You seem to be changing. I wonder, if I poke, do you bite?"
He smacked me across the face, and I fell. Hard. Only a few seconds had passed, and in one simple motion he met the same fate as I got up, "I bite. Hard. You better shut up now, you poor, poor, bastard."
My mind became hazy, and I guess it always will be, I didn't remember the mission, I didn't even remember the girl's name who I was getting mad over, but I knew that this man was enjoying it, and that I had every right to be mad. His face changed, and I saw in his glasses off my 6 foot body flames were bursting off of me, and I began to change altogether. I knew what was happening, and what I was becoming. Even my mind was being altered. "You use this power, but you do not even know what it is. You don't know where you pawns originate from, do you," my voice changed, well a different voice began to overlap it. I spoke again, by now, I had lost all feeling, and all control, of myself, "You don't know where I, where WE come form, do you. What you are looking at now, THIS is what beings of noise truly look like. This is what we are all meant to be."
As if my eyes had detached from my body, I began to see myself from third person. I started to change from my normal appearence into something that seemed almost, godly. Like I had become, an angel. That's all I can remember, and truth be told, I don't ever want to remember, never again.

Author's Comments:
This part is actually cut from the middle, not from the beginning. The entire book isn't first person, i just do some of it in first to add some mystery, par example, you only know a bit about the two characters mentioned, not even their names. Yes this series is based off of an RP I run, link available at request through PM.
