Wilson wondered what kind of force of nature managed to keep him calm, as House, once again, stormed in to his office, while he was in the middle of a meeting with his patient. He said quick apology to his patient, before standing up and leading House out of his office.
And as he should have known, House ranted endlessly about his patient, although Wilson should have been treating his patient. But instead of pointing out the obvious, he shut his mouth into a thin line and stared hopelessly at House. His arms folded above his chest, in a sign of annoyance, but he stayed silent and listened at his friend's preach.
But he was not sure if he could call him a friend. After all the nights they had shared and the lone moments in House's office, Wilson was sure that they had already crossed the line between friendship and love. But House never talked about it. After Wilson finished pleasing House, it was as if the connection between them ceased to exist.
Yet still, House had come to him again. For the fourth time that day.
"House." Wilson said, as House shut his mouth for a moment, "…This is fourth time you've come here to nag about the same patient. Are you sure it's the patient that's bothering you?"
House poked painfully Wilson's knee with his cane and huffed, "What, you think I'd come here to see you, Jimmy?"
Wilson shrugged his shoulders, not caring to answer. He knew House better than that. With a small smile, Wilson turned around and attempted to return to his patient. But a hand grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back.
Wilson found his lips pressed against House's for a short moment, before the taller man pulled away and grunted, "By the way, this is the fifth time. Learn to count, you wuss."
Wilson frowned, as House limped away without another word.
A small sigh passed Wilson's lips, but he returned into his office with a small smile.
Yes, this is definitely love.
