Chapter 1
"Hermioneeeee! Wake up!"The brunette quickly opened her; eyes grabbed her wand from her bedside table and pointing it at a redhead above her."Huh? Oh, it's you Gin."Ginny smiled at her."Morning should dress up already breakfast is about to end."The brunette yawned and said "Okay, wait for me I'll be down in ten minutes."Ginny said in reply," Okay!".
After a good ten minutes the best friends walked to the Great Hall to eat breakfast and greet their friends a good morning."Morning Ron and Harry""Morning Gin and Mione""Moin Hinny ad Hemiine"I am sorry what did you say Ron? The brunette asked. Ron gulped down his food and replyed"I said," Morning Ginny and Hermione"."Ahhh that clears it up" Ginny smiled. They both sat down and started to eat fast before classes.
In Transfigurations someone sent Hermione a note:
Granger, I'm bored. Humor me.
Malfoy
When she didn't answer he sent another one:
I said humor me
Malfoy
She wrote back:
And why should I?
P. 't you even think of answering "because I'm bored "for that is not an answer.
P.P. don't send back another letter if you can't answer my question. And don't send another one because Professor McGonagall is looking our way so I recommend owling me a reasonable answer tonight.
And with that she continued Transfiguration peacefully (and without a single not passed to her).
She continued her day peacefully and was able to answer every question that the professors asked. When it was time for dinner she sought for Ginny in the corridors and when she spotted her she grabbed the girl's arm and said"Gin, after dinner at eight meet me in the Room of Requirement". The redhead bobbed her head as a reply and both of them headed to dinner in the Great Hall.
In the room of requirement she told Ginny about Malfoy's strange actions in transfiguration and both of them to continue discussing it tomorrow. They then walked back to the common room to get some shut eye. When Hermione was about to plop down on the bed a silvery white owl swooped into her window and landed on her arm. She took the note, fed the owl, let it free and then read the note. It said: Hermione (get used to me calling you that in the notes),
My answer is because you can distract me with your Beauty and Smartness every time so when class starts humor me.
Draco Malfoy
She gasped after reading it and decided that she should just tell this shocking discovery to Ginny tomorrow. So she went to sleep thinking about ways to confront a certain blond in the morning.
