Hey! Thanks for reading; I haven't done like anything in a while so I hope this is better than my last story. One-shot!
CASEY's POV
"No."
"But if you would-"
"No."
"Please?"
"Sammy, no!"
Sammy pouted her lips and I just wanted to lean in and kiss her. She looked so good, and I just wish she was mine already.
Sammy had been trying to set me up with one of her old friends, but I didn't want to be set up. I just wanted for Sammy to see that I really love her, not someone else.
"Well why not?"
"I don't really want some random girl to be my girlfriend. I'm sorry, but it's not a good idea."
"Don't have such an ice cold heart. Please? For me?"
She pouted again, and I held back my desperate urge to just hold her and kiss her.
I sighed. "I'm sorry, but no. C'mon just me and you and no awkwardness, so no girlfriend. Okay?"
"Okaaayyyyyyy…"
Another day of being let down.
I was sitting on a park bench, eating a granola bar when I heard loud footsteps come behind me and snatch it out of my hand. It was Sammy.
She took a huge bite out of it, not caring I had already bitten it as well. I loved that about her; I can't explain it. It's just this feeling you have, deep down in your stomach, that you know is the right thing.
"This is a really freaking good granola bar," She muffled with her mouth full. I laughed and snatched it back from her.
"So, my friend felt let down that you wouldn't at least meet her," she said with A LOT of exaggeration.
"Well I'm sorry. I like this other girl."
She raised her eyebrows and moved closer in interest.
"Ohhhhhhh, who may I ask?" A smile shone on her lips and oh, I wanted her so bad. So bad.
"You know her well, very well actually. She's really funny and pretty and has these deep blue eyes."
"Not ringing a bell?" Oh, Sammy.
"She's always been around, making trouble with my sister."
"Wow, she sounds like me!" I smiled. Sammy, Sammy, Sammy.
"Sammy… Don't you get it" I looked in her eyes, and about ten seconds later they shone up, and it finally clicked.
"Oh..." She smiled and I moved closer.
And I finally kissed those shiny lips. Finally, Sammy is mine.
She pulled away and smiled.
"So, do I still have a ice cold heart?"
