Lena VS Joan Rewrite

"You bitch!" Joan screamed out her voice reaching higher than she ever thought possible. She lunged her whole body forward in rage, with a protective instinct. Her blonde hair flew back as time seemed to slow down. She had the look of determination in her light blue eyes; with the kick of adrenalin pumping through her veins she could do anything. She was Joan Campbell after all.

As she got up from Lena's first hit and through herself back at her she only had one thought on her mind her inter brain could be summed up in two words –protect Annie-.

Lena knew that if she could disappear into the crown she could lose Joan in the crowd she wouldn't catch her, one of the positives of training together she knew all of Joan's weaknesses. Annie was a weakness.

As Joan sprinted through the hallways of the hospital used the image of Annie dead on that hospital bed as motivation. Lena disappeared into a crowd of doctors and turned out into an alleyway.

After a few minutes she began to breathe, she lost Joan.

Joan spotted Lena the object of her anger and ran at her, she ran faster than she ever had in her prime as an agent.

She tattled Lena to the ground and pinned her hands before she could react.

"Just like old times." Lena grinned up at Joan, teasing her.

Joan pulled out a gun she had hidden in her tight black pants, covered easily by her red shirt. She pointed it at Lena's neck.

"And how is that?" Joan asked with a calm voice that even surprised her, she seemed cool even with an undeniable rage inside.

"You always did run faster." Lena's said again grinning.

"You hurt her. You hurt Annie. You won't hurt her again." Joan stated pushing the gun into her victim's neck, her eyes turning to ice as she turned into who she really was an agent, she was always an agent and agents are all trained to kill.

"What are you going to do, J? You were never good with the kill not when there were other ways. You won't kill me; you have known me for too many years, J. These are all good reasons to put in your report but honesty Joanie I just don't think you have it in you anymore, you've been out of the game for too long, and you're week. You know why you're week? Because you care about them, Annie and Auggie you just work with them, now you're just an easy target" Lena pushed.

"You think there a weakness, I say they are strength because after the game is said and done all you have is the people you work with" Joan said twisting the silencer onto her gun.

"You won't do it, J. I was always the killer, not you." Lena grinned again.

Joan smiled as she pulled the trigger, the bullet ripped through Lena's leg. Lena screamed out in pain.

"I won't do it?" Joan asked innocently.

"Annie is off limits in our little game. And no one will make that mistake again. You shot her and now I will shot you." Joan told her as she let go of Lena's hands, letting her get up.

"Ha. What's wrong with you J? Never let the enemy get up!" Lena yelled walking backwards away
from Joan.

BANG! BANG! Two silenced shot echoed through the alleyway. Joan walked over to Lena's lifeless body with a sick kinda smile.

"Annie is off limits." She said to no one and ran back into the hospital for her non biological daughter needed her and not that he wanted to admit it but Auggie needed her too.
