George threw his wand across the room. Words could not express how frustrating this was. He leaned against the wall behind him, sliding down it as he held his head in his hands. "Freddie, why can't you be here?" He cried, tears escaping from him yet again. "You're probably up there, laughing at me aren't you? At least one of us can laugh now." He used his sleeve to wipe his wet eyes. "I can't even produce a Patronus at this point." He took a deep breath, hoping to calm himself. "Why can't you be here?" He asked again.

A laugh came from next to him, "I am here, Georgie."

George looked up, his gaze shooting to where he heard Fred's voice. "Fred?"

"Hiya George," Fred smiled at him and waved.

"How are you-"

"Here?" Fred finished his sentence, something George missed so much. "I don't know exactly. I felt like you needed me so, poof, here I am." He laughed.

George looked at him for a minute, staring in shock, then he hugged him. "Fred, I miss you."

Fred smiled and hugged his brother back. "I know, I miss you too. You know I haven't left you though, right? Georgie, I'm always right here. Do you really think I'd leave you? Oh hell no!"

George pulled out of the hug and wiped his overflowing tears. "You are gone Freddie. You died."

"Maybe, doesn't mean I'm gone though." He chuckled. "Remember when we were five and Mum and Dad lost us in Diagon Alley. Haha, we were so scared we'd be lost forever. We made a promise that day, remember?"

It took George a while to find the memory but he did and nodded. "We promised that no matter what, we'd stay with each other until the end."

"Exactly! And it's not the end until we're both dead." He smiled. "Now what's this about not being able to produce a Patronus." He stood up, walking across the room and picking up George's wand. George stood up, standing next to his brother, taking the wand offered to him. "Go on Gred." Fred winked at him.

George raised his wand. "Expecto Patronum!" He shouted, thinking of the memory of the two as five year olds. He held onto it, seeing it clearly in his mind, holding onto his brother's smile. Suddenly his Patronus shot from the tip of his wand. The cat scampering around the two brothers. George smiled, for the first time in forever, as the Patronus disappeared, unneeded anymore. "Fred I did it!" He turned around to share a smile with his brother but was greeted by an empty room. He felt a tear coming but forced it back. "Thank you, Forge." He smiled and placed his wand on the nightstand, in front of the picture of him and Fred. He gave a laugh, it was small but it was progress. The first time he had laughed since Fred had died. "I'll see you later.
