"One Love"

Lyrics by Aiden

Words by SireyuSpiegel

When I wake, I see you
Lying there on the bathroom floor
With foam lips, a black kiss
You're dead heroine, I miss
The way you look so nice
We'll save the undead princess
I'm anxiously awaiting your arrival now

Kanna rolled onto her back in the field; the sky was darkening. Fireflies floated about her as vines twisted between her thin limbs; she was skinny, on the brink of being too skinny. Malnourished. Her hair was dark; some thought it black, other's dark brown. But it was both, and it spread across the grass, mingling with the single blades, while a curtain of hair covered at least three fourths of her pretty face. Her skin was dark brown. She wore glasses; black rimmed, circular ones. 'Course, they were mostly covered by hair so one couldn't she her eyes.

Her eyes. They used to scare her when she was little. They were green, too green. Like the eyes of a cat, with slit pupils to match. She had been told she was pretty, but she knew she was so very ugly. She had to be, for what was inside.

One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid

Her book lie on her stomach, pushed out of the way slightly by a vine; she could not choose what the vine did, and she hated that. She wanted to grab her book and continue reading, but didn't; she was too tired. The wind shifted to reveal her face: Intelligent and Benevolent Oculars, a beauty mark by her left lip, and an ever present smile that stayed whether she wanted it to or not.

The demon, your ghost eyes
Watching me run through our lives
A soft look, in silence
Misery come and find us
Well don't try to stop me
I'm headed straight to hell down
I want you, I need you now

Kanna was absorbed in her own little world when her weapon let sound its warning call, and a silent form of communication. She turned her head to the side to see a familiar pair of legs, and then a tail; Three of them actually. He crouched down beside her, an arm draped across her shoulder as he rested his chin on her head. She smiled as he called her 'Ma pĂȘche', and asked her what she was reading. He kissed her forehead. Every time he did that, she had to keep from doing or saying something goofy

One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid

She was amazed that there was anyone that loved her: Her hair was two different colors, her skin much darkened by the sun. Her eyes were too green, and her manner too geeky and too childish. She though of herself as a bad person. Horrible person. And yet she found there were people who loved her. It was amazing.

The last night, you were here
Your words were so meaningful
with reprise we'll suffer
I thought your ruse was so fake now

She leaned up to kiss him on the lips, smiling. A hand reached up to rub his ear; he had dog ears. Fox ears actually. He went still from the touch, shivering. And then he returned the kiss, after she giggled.

Good ol' Lexum

One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes now, look afraid
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes
Beyond human aid
One love, in your eyes
Beyond human aid
One love
