Author's Notes: Unbetad to all mistakes are mine. Just a little something a wrote at 11pm on Halloween. For the record, Sarah and Becker are living together.
It was Halloween and the ARC was holding a dance. Perhaps unsurprisingly it was Conner's idea, what was surprising was how enthusiastic everyone else was about it. Lester had organised the venue, spending hours trying to pick out just the right spot, the scientists had volunteered to help decorate the place and the catering team had thrown themselves in to creating all sorts of Halloween treats.
Perhaps the only person who wasn't looking forward to it was Becker. It wasn't that he didn't like dances; he was in fact almost gleeful at this opportunity to dance with Sarah. No, he was alright with the dancing, however he was most certainly not alright with having to wear a costume. He had originally planned to go as regular soldier, as opposed to a Special Forces captain, but Sarah had vetoed that idea almost immediately. Instead he was going as Dracula at Sarah's insistence. Now he was in the costume, which consisted of a tuxedo, a black cape lined with red velvet and some thankfully light makeup he had to admit that he didn't look half bad. He walked out of his room and knocked on Sarah's door.
"Are you ready yet?" he asked. He hadn't seen her costume yet and so was quite excited about it.
"Almost," came the reply, causing Becker to grin. Sarah really was amazing. In a crisis she could get dressed in thirty second flat and still look beautiful, but when she put in an effort she was absolutely stunning. That wasn't the only thing he loved about her, her compassion, determination and sense of humour all helped the make Sarah the woman she was, the woman Becker was rapidly falling inescapably in love with.
He was roused from these thoughts by the sound of Sarah's bedroom door opening. Becker turned round and his jaw immediately dropped at the sight of her. She was clearly Dracula's bride, in a long black dress, ragged at the edges. The daring neckline and the long slit enhanced her figure and made Becker want to forget all about the party and just stay at home with her. The wine red lining of the dress matched that of Becker's cape and the high heels she was wearing. She walked towards him in a very seductive manner.
"So what do you think, trick or treat?" she almost purred.
"Oh most definitely a treat," Becker almost groaned.
"Good," Sarah whispered and reached up to pull Becker into a scorching kiss. He was just beginning to enjoy it when she pulled away, sashaying past him towards the door.
"Come on, or we're going to be late," she said, knowing exactly what effect she was having on him and loving every second of it.
"Evil, evil woman!" Becker muttered, following her out of the door. But he knew he wouldn't have her any other way.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, I'm just playing with them, I promise I will (reluctantly) put them back where I found them. Remember, feedback is love, and the world needs a bit more love in it 3 Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you enjoyed it and much as I did writing it. Until we meet again, Fireheart
