Chapter 1, Part 1(Part 2 to follow)-New Beginnings
Mikhael Vassikin was the first to reach the total 5 million dollar ransom money. "The boss is gonna' be so happy with me," he thought as he ran from the other Russian mobsters. The Russian mafia is a lot like the B'wa Kell, they would think nothing of stabbing a brother in the back, so long as they got something from the deal, even if it was just self-satisfaction. Mikhael ran countless miles before coming across an abandoned car. He drove this car the rest of the way to the mob bosses secret headquarters. The whole trip took about 12 hours. The boss wanted to make sure that he was as secluded as possible from the rest of Russia while actually still being there. This is why he lived in the Artic. Mikhael finally reached him and rushed in the door. "You idiot!" he screamed turning a deep red, his finger on the trigger of a silenced PP7. The boss liked James Bond films. "I thought that I told you never to barge in here like that!" "Sorry boss," said Mikhael, fearing for his life. "But I received the ransom money!" "All of it?" "All of it," he confirmed, as surprised as his boss. "What about the older Fowl?" asked the boss, raising one eyebrow, obliviously concerned. "Taken care of. The boy shot his own father! I guess I should thank him for doing my job for me!" "Are you sure that he died?" "Possitive, died on the spot." "I doubt it; this Fowl child is much cleverer than he appears." "Who cares? We still have the money!" "Yes. You are correct," the boss said as they both turned to look at their newly discovered 5 million dollars. "I have to admit," said the boss. "I didn't think he'd pay." Little did anyone know that that very money would disappear in another 60 hours.
