He works early in the morning on a boat
It can get really chilly on the ocean
So bundle up and wear a warm coat
( Why don't those dirt scratchers stay in Maine where they belong?)

The farmer is a good and thrifty citizen

You'll seldom see him drinking in a bar room
Unless someone else is buying drinks.
