Breaking News: Acute Accent Removed from Pokémon logo.

In an exclusive report, the head of The Pokémon Company International has informed us that as of September 2009, the worldwide phenomenon known as Pokémon will now be called Pokemon. Pronunciation will also change from 'Poh-kay-monn' to 'Poh-kee-monn'.

In an interview with the Otaku Gazette, the head of the company responsible for distribution of the franchise formerly known as Pokémon explained to us the reason for the change as quoted below:

"Have you idiots ever got it into your thick skulls? You, yes YOU, Pok(é/e)mon fan reading this, are responsible for this change! Can you not notice the letter E-acute in the logo? I have been to nearly every forum and they're all "Pokemon this, Pokemon that"... And I'm sick of it! ALT+130, people! We thought we were edgy and all that bollocks, but it turned out we were COMPLETELY IGNORED! Well, just to make you happy, we've dropped the 'é' in the logo and replaced it with a regular 'e'. I sincerely hope you're happy now, you unappeasable cu-"
