Blood.

23 tributes spill their blood each year,

Blood.

23 tributes know nothing but fear,

Blood.

1 victor among them all,

Blood.

1 victor, the farthest to fall.

Blood.

Innocent blood spilled by his hands.

Blood.

Innocent blood spilled by the Capitol demands.

Blood.

Never ending, the cycle is vicious.

Blood.

Never ending, their treatment is malicious.

Blood.

Scarlet stains in the Capitol called blood.

Blood.

Scarlet stains, a never-ending flood.
