Not my day.

"Papa?" An innocent voiced asked from the mahogany table behind him.

"Hmm?" Draco answered distractedly, as he sprinkled some crushed fairy wings into the cauldron.

"Can I have some money?"

"What for?" he mumbled, concentrating on getting the potion just right. Harry would kill him if he got any on the floor. They had only just managed to get the kitchen perfect, it was exactly the way they wanted it. He did not want to have to decorate all over again.

"I want to buy a present for Daddy and the baby," his eldest son, Gabriel, told him truthfully.

"I only just gave you your pocket money yesterday," he told him, a frown marring his features as the potion turned a sickly yellow colour instead of orange.

"But its Dad's birthday tomorrow and I had to spend my pocket money on new robes," he sulked, his best-practised pout forming on his lips.

"If Gabriel gets some money then so should I!" his 10-year-old daughter shouted, unhelpfully.

"Fine, fine," he said knowing that the only way he would get any peace was to give them some money and send them off to Diagon Alley. Hopefully Teddy would be free this afternoon so that he could look after them, Harry would skin him alive if he let the pair go out alone at such a young age, especially if Caesar insisted on tagging along.

He shoved his hand in his pocket before thrusting a handful of galleons at the two of them. He then sent them off to Lupin and Black's place sure that they would be fine with Harry's godparents.

"Finally," he sighed, some peace and quiet so that he could finish the potion for Harry. He was in his last month of pregnancy and only had a few weeks left, which meant that he was constantly in pain. His back ached and his feet were sore, at the moment he had been put on bed rest, as he was exhausted and needed to be ready for a hard labour, which could be any day now.

Draco was currently working on a pain-relieving potion that would hopefully make Harry more comfortable. His Harry would not be in pain unnecessarily! He added a pinch of bats intestine and it started bubbling madly; that should not be happening! He was sure that if he didn't stop it right now then it would explode.

"Draco!" he heard his frantic husbands voice. "It's time!"

Shit.
