All too well
My old song All too well was playing on the radio I bought from an antique store during one of my many travels as I dragged myself out of bed to make breakfast for Ed and the kids. It's been years since I've heard that song and it's been even longer since I've been the 8 time Grammy award winning Taylor Swift. Now I live in a mansion in Tennessee married happily with two kids and a cat named after my late cat Meredith.
The doorbell rings pulling me out of my thoughts as I'm lost in translation. I open the front door expecting to see someone though all I see is a small box on the door mat. On it there's a note that says 'I thought you might want this back' so I open the box in curiosity to see what the note meant and in the box I see a scarf.
