Just saw the trailer for You're Next and it looks...HORRIFYING!
Anyway, in this one-shot Gale is five and Sage is eight.
Although I should probably do the welcome home party first... :/
Flames will be used to roast sausages
I do NOT own Monsters Inc or University T-T

Give it back!" Sage yelled as he tried to yank the tv remote out of his sister's hands.
"No, it's mine!" Gale yelled as she yanked it back.
The siblings were playing tug 'o war with the TV remote. Like all siblings do. Their father had some errands to run so their uncle Sulley had to watch them. He was currently in his room looking for something when he heard the commotion coming from the living room and got up to go check it out.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey!" he yelled, walking over and snatching the remote out of their hands. "What is going on here?" he asked, crossing his arms and looking at them sternly.
"Gale stole the remote from me!" Sage yelled, pointing his finger at her.
"Did not!" Gale yelled back, her skin suddenly turning red instead of its normal human color. It was discovered, one day, that Gale had the ability to camouflage or change colors. But didn't have the ability to turn invisible. She tended to change colors when she's sad or angry.
"Gale your turning red again." Sulley sighed.
Gale looked at her hands and arms, frowning when she heard her brother laughing. "Sorry." she said, changing back to her normal color.
"Now, which one of you is going to tell me what happened?"
Sage folded his hands behind his back and shuffled his feet shyly while Gale hugged her tail like a stuff animal. A habit she developed.
"Well?"
Sage finally spoke up. "I wanted to watch TV but Gale wouldn't give me the remote!" he said.
"It was my turn!" Gale whined.
Sulley sighed. Children and technology nowadays. Whatever happened to kids fighting over toys or books? "Alright," he said slowly, "No one gets to watch TV until your father comes home. Are we clear?"
"But uncle Sulley!" the kids whined in unison.
"Not 'but's." Sulley said firmly, placing the remote on a high shelf so the kids wouldn't get it.
The kids watched their uncle return to his room with pouted expressions on their faces. Once he heard the door close, Sage spun around and glared angrily at Gale. "This is all your fault!" he snapped.
"Is not!" Gale snapped back, hugging her tail tighter.
"Is too! Because of you I can't watch my favorite show!" Sage yelled. He wasn't intending on scaring his baby sister. But the tone in his voice when he yelled had scared her and caused her to run to the corner crying. Sage's expression softened when he realised what he had done and walked over to the corner. Gale was sobbing, hugging her tail closely.
"G-Gale, I'm sorry." Sage said gently.
"Go away!" Gale cried, looking away from her brother. Her skin was now blue.
Sage didn't know what to do. "Listen, Gale, I'm sorry for yelling at you. I really am." Sage said.
Gale suddenly stopped her crying and looked over to her brother with teary eyes. "Y-You are?" she asked, sniffing.
"Yeah." Sage said, smiling.
Gale sniffed one last time before she lunged at her brother and wrapped her arms around him, her skin turning back to normal. "I'm sorry too, big brother." she sniffed.
The two pulled away from eachaother and Sage smiled at his sister. "Hey! Wanna play princess?" he asked.
"YEAH!" Gale squealed happily, her skin turning yellow.
Sage took her hand and walked back to their room, which they shared. Sulley was listening from his room and sighed in relief when he knew he didn't have to get involved again. Siblings tend to fight over the stupidest things. But in the end they eventually work things out.
End.
