Author's Note:

This story was created in 2008 by a group of authors, including myself. All of them were, and hopefully still are, great story tellers on this website. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I lost contact with them. Originally, I was not going to upload this under my username, but I felt that this story could not be left to die.

I left on hiatus for some time as I felt that my writing skills were not up to the task to make this story shine for what I feel it can be. Now that I've returned, I will be updating the current chapters one by one and then proceeding to breathe life into new chapters and continuing this tale.

The authors that were involved (and are welcome to become involved once more) are ChibiSess, Kiriona, Keeroshu, Phoenix of Darkness and Flame (formally angel of darkness and fire), and ecoangel. If any of the authors listed above come across this story, please contact me through a message on this website.

Now, without further delay, Legends of the Forgotten.

Jak and Daxter
Legends of the Forgotten

Prologue

Long ago, six unique beings were brought together by the Precursors and chosen to be the Keepers for the six elements of eco.

Red was given to Aaron, the power of strength.

Blue was given to Shen, the power of manipulation.

Green was given to Molly, the power of healing.

Yellow was given to Joanna, the power of courage.

Dark was given to Yoko, the power of chaos.

Light was given to Luke, the power of wisdom.

Over time, the six Keepers learned how to control their powers to their full potential. However, even as they searched for knowledge about their mysterious abilities, a great Evil had begun to awaken. Days turned to weeks. Weeks turned to months. Months turned to years. Still the Evil grew ever stronger.

The sky grew dark on that fateful day as the Evil force reared its head and began to tear the world apart, spiraling it into chaos. The Keepers reacted under the guide of the Precursors, but to no avail, were defeated and sealed away.

The Precursors fought to keep the planet alive and succeeded, though many of them were lost in the struggle. Even so, the remaining Precursors knew that the Evil would return.

History became legend and legend became myth, the presence of the Keepers vanishing. Now, they lie in wait for the Chosen Hero to release them and aid in the struggle to protect the world.
