"Who is the Doctor?" The universe cries
A madman, a trickster, the enemy replies
That he may be, but there's always more
Than meets the eye, those soulful doors
For the darker the shadow you see
Thus the brighter the light must be
He's an elderly man with the heart of a boy
And his trusty blue box is his favourite toy
He's somebody who will put his friends first
Even when he comes out for the worst
He's generous and kind and crazy as hell
He's cunning, romantic and lonely as well
He's saved the Earth with no thanks at all
He's always trying his best not to fall
But sometimes it's hard and that is why
He needs someone to stand by his side
One day the universe won't ask "Doctor Who?"
Instead all his friends will say "we love you".
