A.N3 The death star will be nowhere near Alderaan or Tatooine. It will start in ANH.

A.N4 Vader never needed the suit. He sustained a minor lightsaber wound. Leia is an only child but she does not want to be a politician like her late mother. She wants to be healer. When she learned that Bail and Breha help Kenobi kidnap her with Kenobi as her mother lay dying, she decided to abdicate the throne and she took her birth mother's maiden name since she knew nothing about her late father. The only thing Leia knew is he was a Jedi that was killed in the purges.

Ensign Leia had joined the Empire as a medical officer. It was easy to get the recommendation from her professors at the Healer's academy. She knew the rebellion was committing atrocities in her mother's name, all because the neutral system does not want to be involved in the war.

It was six standard months into Leia's service when Lord Vader had come into the sick bay with Captain Piett. Piett had been injured when a rebel ship had shot into the ship and he was looking for a status update.

"Milord, Captain Piett is expected to make a full recovery. He will need to be placed on light duty for two standard weeks because he will have limited movement of his shoulder."

The Sith lord thought he was looking at a ghost. Ensign Naberrie could pass as his late wife's twin sister. Then there is the fact her last name is Naberrie. Could have Sola have had another daughter?

Ensign Naberrie took him back to see Captain Piett who had his arm in a sling. "How soon before they let you out?"

"Since Captain Varliss is out on medical leave, it is up to Ensign Naberrie. She told me in the morning. I have to remain in the sling because I am at risk of dislocating my shoulder even after the bacta."

"I would not argue with a medical officer, Piett. You won't win even if you are a superior."

He did leave Piett to rest. When he went to private quarters, he typed the name Naberrie into the personnel database. That was when he saw the name Leia Naberrie. It listed Padme Naberrie as her mother. The name of the father was left unknown. Vader knew Sidious lied. The baby did not die. Leia Naberrie is his daughter. He could sense his daughter being force sensitive too.

He read more into her file. She had been adopted by Bail and Breha Organa but abdicated the throne while she was in healer's school. Vader reached into the force. That was when Vader felt that his daughter learned the truth, that she had been kidnapped and his former master had been involved in the kidnapping. Keeping Sidious away from his daughter will be the ultimate challenge but he ignores the younger officers and rarely seeks out medical attention. When Sidious does seek out medical attention, it is from the top healers in the Imperial navy. Sidious has stopped reading his thoughts. That is because Basic was not his first language. It is Huttesse. That is where he can hide it.

The next day he walked in to see Leia giving Captain Piett his discharge instructions and the captain was rolling his eyes at the ensign.

"I will make sure Captain Piett follows your instructions, Ensign Naberrie. Can we speak in your office?"

Vader could see his friend glaring at him and smirked. Leia takes after Padme in many ways.

"How can I be of service Milord?"

"Ensign Naberrie, I read your file…"

Vader could sense her fear but let his daughter speak.

"Milord, the Organas only told me my mother's name. They only told me my father was killed in the Clone Wars but never gave me his name."

"They would do that since they kidnapped you, my daughter. I was married to your mother for three years. I was told you had died with your mother."

Leia had turned white. "What happens now?"

Vader knew this would not be easy and he wanted to minimize the risk to his daughter. "The Organas will be placed under arrest. They kidnapped you. Kenobi is …"

"I saw him once when I was six. I have not seen or heard of him in years. He did say something, I will be in the last place where Vader will ever want to be."

Leia helped him more than anything. He knew where Kenobi is, Tatooine.

"Kenobi is on my home planet, Tatooine. It's a good thing it would take us six weeks to reach there. Now, Sidious was the one who lied and it will be relatively easy to hide you from him. He ignores the younger officers and his ego prevents him from seeing a healer. However, when he does it is usually with a senior healer. I will have you reassigned to my ship because unlike the rest of those who suck up to the Emperor, I know the rebels will want to blow up the death star. "

Vader decided to prove another point to his daughter, that she is force sensitive. "I already lost your mother, my daughter. I don't want to lose you too."

Leia's reaction was entertaining. "No, you are not losing your mind. It would take nothing to get you reassigned to the Executor. I do have a question, I thought you would have wanted to become a politician like your mother."

Vader knew Leia isn't all Padme, she is his daughter too. "Consider it teenager rebellion. Bail tried to steer me in that direction but I can't stand politicians. I was removed from the legislative youth because I would nap during sessions. Apparently, I am the ultimate disappointment."

The sith lord was laughing. "Leia, if that is your idea of being a rebellious teenager, you failed miserably. It's okay, I can't stand most politicians. You would not be a disappointment in your mother's eyes for choosing medicine over politics and you aren't in my eyes."

Vader knew working with Leia, they could put an end to this force forsaken war. The emperor and the rebels would have it go on for decades longer. He will have his revenge against the Sidious, Kenobi, and the Organas for costing him his wife and daughter.
