The "Unknown" Dragons
CHAPTER 1
"If taking the first steps is a major part in the life of humans, then have you ever wondered what it is for dragons?" Chase Young, the twilight dragon, had asked me this question multiple times. This was the first in a few years. We were having a battle. I had successfully made it into the Xioalin warriors, and was about ready to betray them when they got in a fight with my comrade (and good friend). "It is flight, of course." "Then why do I have no wings?" "Because the twilight dragon was a fool. I have no reason to argue with you about this again." "But I was not the one who betrayed you! I did not earn the wingless form! And I–" "you were the problem between the dark and the light. Twilight is the middle child. Get over it." my supposed new team started to cheer. "And also... if the foolish element dragons would shut their mouths and watch, they'll see I'm going to take them out here and now!" I turned around, giving a huge flash swipe in their direction, forming me into the black and purple dragon I was. "MY NAME, YANI! MY FORM, DRAGON!" They seemed surprised, but quickly dodged my thrashing tail. Then, I was teleported away, and I woke up, with my two partners standing next to me, waiting, seeing if I would wake up.
"Yani, are you alright?" Chase asked softly.
"If she speaks none, her answer is no." James, the light dragon looked over and spoke to Chase.
"I...I am fine..."
"They discovered you. They know your secret, and now they are our enemies."
"So I made the plan go downhill and crash, in other words..."
"Well, to put it harshly, yes." James said.
"So, I am a failure... as always...?"
"NO! THAT'S NOT WHAT WE MEANT!"
"Chase, do not lose your temper."
I got up after I said that, and said, "I'm going for a walk." I walked out of the door, and was gone.
