Warning: This fic has Sonadow, if you don't like it then don't read it. And don't even flame me about it. I warned you.

It was a nice warm day in Station Square, which is now where our legendary blue hero resides… But you can just call him Sonic. It had really been a sudden move but in finding on apartment that he liked, Sonic decided to go for it. It was perfect after all, with his friends living in a close proximity to him.

Tails in his workshop tinkering with all sorts of gizmos and gadgets, Sonic chuckled at the thought… then of course Knuckles who was guarding his Master Emerald over on Angel Island, Sonic also made a mental note to stop by for some sparring over the next couple of days. Hell even Amy lived within a close running distance of him, "Perhaps a little too quick if you ask me" he mused.

But finally Shadow, ah how that name brought back memories. The blue speedster wasn't sure if he could call Shadow a "friend" per se, but what the heck. His FRIEND lived the closest, and that just happened to be in the apartment across the hall. However, Sonic didn't know when he moved into his "dream" apartment, that his Shadowy counterpart lived next door. So when he moved all his stuff from Mobius to Station Square, Shadow simply knocked on his door and said "Hi, welcome to Twinkle Park Apartments" (A.N: XD I couldn't think of a better name). Let's just say that Sonic was surprised to say the least.

The ebony hedgehog didn't really socialize much with Sonic or anyone else for that matter. Nothing more than the occasional Hello or What's new was said between the two males. That small talk that was made had left Sonic extremely curious about Shadow. One day, just out of the blue, the phone began to ring at Shadow's apartment, "Hmmm that's strange, I hardly ever get any phone calls" he thought as he walk toward the phone to answer.

"Hello" said a deep voice

"Hi Shadz, What's Up?" said a chipper voice from the other end of the line.

"Nothing"….

"Well good then in that case how about you come over for supper, I could really use the company" Sonic offered in that same upbeat tone.

"Well I don't really know" Shadow hesitated.

"Pleaseeeee" Oh god he's practically pleading with me, Shadow mused…

"Alright fine Sonic I'll be over in about 2 hours for supper"

"Yay! Ok Shadz see you soon." Sonic then hung up the phone.

"Wow, said Sonic, I can't believe he accepted my offer for dinner, I can't quite put my finger on it, but for some strange reason I really want to see him."

A.N. Ok well this is my first story writing in the Sonic the Hedgehog Fandom. I have been lurking around here for too long and reading every Sonadow story out there. I think it's time I contribute to it. I'm not technically new to this site (I have been writing some Avatar stories, but I lost interest after season 3 ended.) Uh well, enjoy and please review with criticism and or comments.

I like to update hopefully on a weekly or biweekly basis, and I do have a plot in mind for this. So we'll see where it goes from here
