Revenge Can Be Sweet A ShikaIno Oneshot By Machi Yukon

The school day had just begun and ino Yamanaka was ready. It was all because of him-Shikamaru Nara. He had helped her get over Sasuke had really hurt her. sasuke had been her boyfriend, but he had been playing her the whole time for Sakura Haruna the whole time. This was their third week and second day dating; she had been counting. Everything had been going fine, except she had apologized to sasuke the night before- she kept this from Shikamaru. She felt bad and knew that that could ruin everything, but she just brushed it off.
She had aplogized because she had cheated on Sasuke with Shikamaru. She, after bottling up felt tons of remorse. she thought nothing would happen, but it always did.
That day after school she got a reply from Sasuke saying that he still loved her and they should meet in person. Ino ran away to the outside world of Konohagure. Sasuke met at their metteing spot. They eneded up kissing. She had just cheated on Shikamaru.
"Gasp." she exclaimed. "Oh well." She went back to kissing Sasuke. She was thinking with her hormones rather than someone else's feelings.
The next day she broke up with Shikamaru and he asked "Why?" The pain was evident in his voice. He had all his stuff returned in his hands, Ino walked away from him.
It took her a week of dating Sasuke to realize she had made a big mistake. She called Shikamaru up. He was being a jerk to her- she deserved it. A few days later he told her "I can't date you, and I won't date you." She walked awya. He pulled her back. "Can't we still be friends?" "Too bad." She pulled away, leaving him. It hurt her but she kept it inside.
Ino redated Sasuke the next day, that went well for a week then it went sour.
She realized her feelings for Shikamaru, the boy she rarely saw now- who played romantic sons or songs that would just get to their situation- would never dissapear. Ino found out that ''bear-kun'' she so desired want revenge. She didn't know what or how but it scared her.
Weeks went on by and Shikamaru contiued to flirt with Ino, Then out of the blue he asked her out .
It was very happy time. Three weeks and two days passed- nothing, no revenge. the next day she was going tohang out with her "bear-kun" and two of her closest friends. Shikamaru was supposed to be there with Ten Ten and Temari and Ten Ten's house.
Ten Ten told Ino she would be up in a minute to just go up stairs, Shikamaru and Temari would be up there and to wait on her. When Ino walked into Ten Ten's room Temari and Shikamru were kissing and taking eachother's clothes off. Ino's eyes welled up "FUCKERS! HOW COULD YOU! FUCK OFF!" She screamed, shikamaru putting his shirt back on and Temari zipping her pants up. Ino looked appalled, running with the door slamming behind her, Shikamaru trying to run after her, but Ino hit and shoved him away untill he stopped. "GO DIE, PIG!" She slapped him across the face.
Ino didn't talk to boys for a month. Shikamaru wrote her a note saying: I still love you, you just needed to get hurt. How's it feel? Now we're even. Ino dropped the note and slid down the corner she was standing in. Tears were down her face. Shikamaru saw her and embraced her. "I'm a prick." He laughed. "It's not funny!" She sniffled. Then he kissed her. "I love you, God dammit!" He embraced her tighly too afraid to let go. Tears were coming down his face as he sniffed her hair. "Why?" Ino's body rocked with light sobs. "Because, you deserved it." Shikamaru laughed. Ino laughed too and they kissed again. "So are wa an it again?" She smiled, her eyes red from crying, sh had stopped. Her heart was beating a 1,000 beats a minute. "Yeah." He laughed.
