I pushed my self to write this. Its a short but hopefully sweet little ficlet
Backround story: KC's stupid boyfriend Jack just broke up with her and now wont leave her alone. How does she get him to go away.
KC tugged her sweatshirt sleeve over her hand. "Why do I keep covering that, maybe it'll let him now I've moved on and I don't need him."
Just then Jack came and sat across from her at the table. "Babe I've been thinking I want to get back together." He said reaching for her hand.
KC shook it off "No. We aren't gonna get back together, I don't need you, I have moved on." she said pushing her shirt sleeve up let him see what she had written on the back of her hand.
She grabbed her lunch and walked over to the other Othersiders minus Zach, and slide next to Riley. He stared at her hand. "You know that I heart question mark. It just looks wrong. I don't know why." he said staring at her hand.
"Your taking me to your house right? We have to do that stupid debate thing on why ghosts aren't real. I mean why'd she pick us for that?"
"I know I know, this assigment will suck, but party at my house, yah no."
3 hours later
KC and Riley sat in the Othersider's room. "This feels not right, writing a paper on why ghosts don't exist, in a room housing ghost equipment."
"I know." He said staring at her hand.
"Still can't figure out what's wrong?"
"No, I figured it out." He said grabbing her hand and a pen, he changed the question mark to an R and added an L.
She looked at him, and leaned in and kissed him. I think you were right about my hand.
So. I got the idea from a Taylor Swift song Cookies to anyone who can figure it out.
There may be a slight prequel It depends on if I feel like having another idea overlap with this one or not.
