Author's Notes: I had to write a sonnet for English and I was raking my brain for inspiration when I remembered that I finished the manga for Full Moon. So I decided it couldn't hurt to write something about the manga. Unfortunately, it isn't a typical sonnet, but whatever. ALSO it's supposed to be between Mitsiki and Eichi. BUT if it doesn't, then tell me. okay...
ENJOY!
This river we ride flowing freely,
The clear waters beneath our feet,
We sing a song, a chorus majestic'ly
We tap and rhyme with the beat.
But as the river rolls along
And with the setting sun, it slowly goes away,
The silence creeps into our song
And soon the night becomes what once was day.
The song we sung has all disappeared
And I'm left with just a melody
And as I look toward the river, I fear
The clear waters had also gone with thee.
Woe be to the moon that shines
Our voices, ceaseless, for all time.
