Pegasus

Pegasus is glowing white

You can see him flying on a starry night

Up on mount olympus

Yes olympus is where you can find pegasus

If you climb up the mountain to find him

You might encounter madam mim

Once you get to the peak

Youĺl have to quietly sneak

To see if you can see him soaring

I know your heart will be pouring

With great joy

You also might see an olympian boy

As you explore the grounds

You have to look around

To see if you can spot pegasus flying in the blue sky

You'll look and look till your legs feel like they're going to die

But once you find him and greet him with a pat on the neck

You'll feel like you need a reality check

Once night falls

And he supposed to go back to the stall's

Instead he offers you to get on his back

So you and him can go for a midnight snack

As you are flying in the night

It might give you quite a fright

You fly on the back of Pegasus and go for a couple miles

You'll find you been in the sky for awhile

Then a hour or two later a beautiful lake comes into view

And no one would give it a boo

Once Pegasus land

You jump off and land on the soft sand

You and him play in the abandon lake for hours

And knew that this moment was ours

After a while he'll nicker for you to get on his back

You'll climb on without any lack

He lifts off into the night sky gaining speed

You feel excited and nervous so you plead

For him to slow down

But all you see is a twinkle in his brown,

Eye's so you knew he was laughing

And you knew if he could he would be dabbing

In minutes you'll be surrounded by blazing white

It is very loud and very bright

It seems like it's been hours in the white tunnel

And it feels like you're in a funnel

Suddenly you're in the bright lighted city

Because it was night it was very pretty

It hit you that soon your time with you beloved would be over

You wish you had the lucky four leaf clover

So that you could stay with him forever

But it was now or never

But you will wish it was never

Maybe you can beg to stay with him but that wouldn't be clever

As you land on rooftop of your apartment you will be teary eye

And your throat dry

Pegasus tries to comfort you

But all you can do is cry you wish you had glue

so you could glue the two of you together

You run up to him and hug his strong neck and felt his soft feathers

He nickers to you and you somehow understand

That is was ok even if it wasn't grand

You go in for one last hug and said your goodbyes

Then he turns and lift off into the skies

Your body then trembles and knees give out

All you can fill is doubt

That you would ever see him again

Because he never said when,

He would return to you

Somehow you know and knew that he knew

That someday he will come back and bring you back

Now you wonder when your life would get back a track

Now you make your way to your apartment room that on the 16th floor

You get the floor and open the door

You get something to eat and head straight to your room and cry

And you just wanna die

It will take you months to recover

And you know that the memory will never be cover

Some will say it was a dream and a fantasy made in your mind

But those things the people said always remind

Of the event that happened that wonderful night

You remember the fun flight

It is the exact reason why every single night you wait on your roof

There is no need for proof

You'll wait for your sweet Pegasus by and by.

Well here's the poem I really do hope you enjoy this! In fact these books got me into reading and open a whole new world of adventure and imagination. I'll always dream of going to the worlds that I read about, and I hope one day I'll read on the back of Pegasus with the character's by my side. I'm waiting for my Pegasus "By and By."
