It was amazing how one song could describe your entire existence, that song when Sam had first heard it, it was like someone wrote it to describe him and his brother.

When Sam and walked out of the room they'd been staying in, the look of determination as he thought of college and its opportunities; forgetting his brothers guilt stricken face.
Only now did he look back and acknowledge his brother's sacrifices.

When Dean made the deal, just to bring him back.
When Sam could all but watch as hell hounds tore his brother apart, holding onto his brothers ice cold body like a lifeline.
Who would ever expect death to be a regular occurrence?

When Sam jumped into the pit, knowing it'd be okay because his brother, Dean was there.
