~Final Wish~

I had lived over a thousand years,
And somehow I forgot that I was alive.
I had once flown in the sky,
But somehow I forgot how it felt to soar.
I had been encased in burning fury,
Still somehow I forgot how it felt to burn.
I had been living in the eye of the storm,
And yet somehow I forgot about the peace of a calm.
I had lived in ice all my life,
Yet somehow I forgot I was frozen.
I had reveled in secluded darkness,
But somehow I forgot what true darkness is.
I had been stolen and hidden beneath the earth,
Yet somehow I forgot about these imprisoning walls.
We had been secret for so long,
And somehow we forgot we existed.
I had been dreaming for so long,
Still somehow I forgot I was sleeping.
I had been crying so hard and long,
When somehow the pain disappeared.
We awoke from our sleep and out of our dreams,
Summoned to battle, sharing the screams.
One by one, joining the Summoners,
We became true legends and demons.
We truly felt power within our grasp,
We felt it slip and crash as we were summoned back.
Life after Death, Death after Life,
A cycle as old as Time herself.
With our finals screams, echoing over the Farplane,
We were released from our bondage, released from servitude.
We stopped being slaves, we became our own masters.
We were allowed that final wish.
Freed of pain, freed of fear,
Our souls souring high.
We were given our wish,
We were finally allowed to die.
