"Yeah, new house." Kara sigh as she enters her new residence. It is the first time she will be living on her own. "I will definitely miss Eliza and her pecan pie." Kara was so used to have her adopted mom around especially when it is holidays where they invite their friends over and the food she cooks for Kara but now, she will be alone in this two-storey house. "Maybe I can go and adopt a buddy to be with." A happy sigh and she decided to do so. She was interrupted from her thoughts when the service truck arrive with her things.

"Miss Danvers? Sign here and we'll drop your things off in the front lawn." The man who delivered her things said. "Thank you." Kara said, she didn't even bother asking for help. Why? Alien powers obviously, she kept it but in here, no one knows who she was and it is no problem at all. Some may think that she only do some working-out.

"Mom! There's a new girl on the house in front of ours!" The young Grant shouted to his mother. "Look at how strong she is carrying all of those stuffs on her own." He added looking from their living room window. The boy's mother looked at how the young woman flex her muscles 'and oh goodness, those biceps.' She thought as they watch the girl carry her things. "Carter honey, why don't you go and help her. I will follow you after cooking a little something for our new neighbor." The boy nodded and ran across the street. She swears that her shy boy likes their new neighbor.

Kara was suppose to carry her stuffs alone, but then a young boy pop out of nowhere running towards her. "Hello, I'm Carter Grant. My mom and I live across the street. We saw you moving boxes inside so my mom thought that I should help you carry them, they seem so heavy for a lady." Kara beamed at the boy. "My name's Kara, Kara Danvers. And thank you Carter but you don't have to, I work out alot so it's no problem with me carrying things." She said and the boy seems to not listen to her and started carrying some boxes. "I insist Kara, and you will finish this before night falls if I help." He beamed and hurriedly carry the box inside. Kara following suit to the boy.

Before dinner time, the two were already finish in carrying the stuffs inside. "Thanks alot bud, you did help me there." Kara said slumping next to Carter in the sofa and ruffling his hair. "No problem Kara." He answered giggling at her. They were in the middle of knowing each other when the doorbell went off.

Kara stood and immediately opened the door. "Well, hello there. It seems that my son is enjoying his stay here, I'm starting to get jealous of you. I'm Cat, Catherine Grant, Carter's mother." Kara looked stunned at the woman outside her door. "Oh, h-hi! I'm Kara Danvers. It's nice to meet you Carter's mom!" She said stuttering at how beautiful this creature is. "P-please go inside, it's not arrange yet but please feel welcome." Kara added as she step aside to let the woman in.

"Mom! Kara and I finish carrying things and I decided that since school won't start until one week I should help her settle in." Carter babble to his mom happily. "Shouldn't you ask Keira first if she would take your help?" Kara flinch at the wrong pronounciation of her name. "It's fine with me, if it's alright with you Miss Grant." Kara said and Carter beamed. "See mom, please let me help." Cat cannot resist the puppy eyes that his son is doing. "Fine, as long as I am here too." Carter shouted a yes and hugged his mom.

"Oh, Keira. Why don't you join us to dinner, It seems that you got your hands full here and have no time to cook." Cat asked her new neighbor. "Oh no Miss Grant, I don't want to intrude. I'll just buy some takeout." Kara wave off the offer thinking that she might intrude to a family dinner. "I insist, It's just Carter and I, you know. You're not intruding into anything and I know for a fact that takeouts will do you no good. And you may know, you cannot argue with a Grant." Cat said which made Kara look at her like a lost puppy.

"Come along now Carter, we'll have Kara for dinner." Cat said to his son who ran out to their home. "He really likes you, you know. He'd shy away with people he does not know, and it is the first time that I saw him get comfortable with someone so fast." Cat confess to Kara following Carter. "I like him too, you've got a great kid Miss Grant." Kara beamed with her sunny Danvers smile. "It's Cat. I invited you over so you can actually call me by my name." Cat said to her. "I don't want to refer to you as a feline, may I call you Catherine?" Kara asked with a hint of mischievousness. "Uhm, of course Keira, you may." She smiled at Kara. "And Catherine, it's Kara not Keira." The old woman laugh and wave off the correction as they entered Cat's house.

"The table's ready mom!" Carter shouted from their dining hall. "Thank you honey, why don't you come here and lead Kara so she could wash her hands while I prepare the foods." They heard a silent 'kay mom' and Carter popping his head to the doors. "C'mon Kara!" Carter waved and Kara followed.

As they return to the dining, Cat already prepared the food which made Kara's kryptonian DNA hungry.

"You may seat now Kara, before you drool all over my carpet." Cat snapped at her looking at how Kara lovingly look at the food. "These all look good Catherine, but aren't this awfully many for just two people?" Kara asked as she sat down next to Carter. "You do know that a young man like Carter have a huge appettite and we actually plan on inviting you over earlier when Carter saw you." Kara looked at Carter and he nodded happily. "Now go and dig in." Cat said and Kara didn't hesitated in digging in.

"Thank you for the dinner Catherine. Good night Carter, see you tomorrow?" Kara said and ruffled his hair. "Good night, Kara. Yep, see you tomorrow." Kara waved as she ran across the street, Cat closed their door in transition with the girl. "You like her, Mom. You let her call you Catherine, a name you actually hate because of grandma." Carter chuckled and ran to his room for dear life. "Get back here young man!" Cat ran to follow his teasing son. And laugh happily.

Horray for my very first SuperCat ff! 😭😭 I'm so happy I'm gonna cry! Hopefully, you guys like it. And I really will do my best to finish this! Also, I'm so sorry if the characters are a bit ooc, i'm really trying to replicate a Cat Grant and Kara Danvers persona. 😂
