Flowers From the Past

"Mommy how did you meet daddy?" the little six year old asked. "How did I meet daddy? Oh yes well Annie it was about 8 years ago when ...," I interrupted coming into the living room. "Hey don't start wihtout me I want to here to." "You were there," she said while looking at me. "Daddy you're weird," Annie said. "Yeah but she knew that when she agreed to marry me," I said. "And I have never regretted it one day. I love you," she said lovingly. "I love you too," I replied giving her a quick kiss. "Mommy what about the story," Annie said anxiously waiting for it. "Oh right. Well it was back in Midgar and I was selling flowers for a living. Your father walked up right and bought a flower from me. I looked at his blue eyes and couldn't help but blush. He was and is still as handsome as ever," she starting the story. "Well I think it's time you heard my side. I was just walking home from work as a cook at Aunty Tifa's Seventh Heaven. Then I saw her. Mommy was just standing there trting to get anyone to buy her flowers. I just couldn't not buy a flower. So I walked over and was going to buy a flower but I just got lost in her beautiful eyes. I don't know how I could ever bear to leave. So I asked mommy on a date. So that way I could see her again," I explained our first meeting. "Oh that's right. I couldn't beleive he asked me and I was so excited. I couldn't wait for it. Well Annie that's how I met daddy," she replied with joy in her voice. "Yeah and I wouldn't change it for the world," I replied. Annie, almost asleep, said, "Mommy you used to sell flower's." "That's right mommy was known as the flower lady in Midgar. Anyone who wanted flowers asked for her," I replied. "That's nice," Annie said then falling into a quiet slumber. "I'll go to take to her room," she said while picking up Annie. She took Annie to her room and tucked her in. I went out and got a flower from the garden and met her in the hall. "Thank you for the flower how much will it be," I asked. "Oh it'll be one kiss," she replied. "Alright then," I said then kissing my wife in the hall. After what seemed like an ages, we broke the kiss. She said with joy, "I love you Cloud Strife." Then I replied with such happiness, "I love you Aeris Strife."
