Hey, sad and need to vent, so here's my one shot. DO NOT OWN SONG OR SHOW

Fabian

She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette
She broke his heart he spent his whole life tryin' to forget
We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time
But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind
Until the night

She had broken up with him, so he thought. Or was the whole thing a misunserstanding? Either way, his heart had shattered into dust, and he spent all of his time trying to forget. Everyone knew he had turned to alchohol and even cutting himself.

"You're so much better then this Fabian," Mick had said over the phone.

"You don't get it mate, she just dumped me. She put me out like an old ciggarette..."

But, even drunk out of his mind, he'd call for her, no matter what... Until one night...

[1st Chorus]
He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away her memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength he had to get up off his knees
We found him with his face down in the pillow
With a note that said I'll love her till I die
And when we buried him beneath the willow
The angels sang a whiskey lullaby

He killed himself. He had cut his neck, and in his final moments, he finally forgot her. His life was short, and he knew it, but he couldn't go on without her, it was too hard. He fell face first onto his pillow after scrawling a note.

"I'll love her till I die, and I tried to wait. I love you Nina Martin."

They held his funeral under a willow in the graveyard, as the angels sang a haunting lullaby.

(Sing lullaby)

The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself
For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath
She finally drank her pain away a little at a time
But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind
Until the night

People would talk, claiming it was all her fault and if she had listened, he'd still be here. She never got mad at them though, and they had no idea how much she blamed herself! She couldn't live without him either... And she tried to hide the fact that she was attempting to cope as he had. Amber tried to help.

""You're bigger than this Nina!" She said one day.

"Fabian wasn't, and he's always been stronger then me Ambs..."

But, like he had, no matter what, he was always there in her mind, his final note ringing in her head. There was one night when she finally forgot...

[2nd Chorus]
She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger
And finally drank away his memory
Life is short but this time it was bigger
Than the strength she had to get up off her knees
We found her with her face down in the pillow
Clinging to his picture for dear life
We laid her next to him beneath the willow
While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby

They had all heard a sob, but figured it was nothing, Nina cried often these days. They continued with thir days until they heard a loud thump. She had overdosed, remembering in the final moment, he had called her beautiful and didn't want to ruin that. They were too late, and when Jerome turned her over to check her pulse, they saw her clinging to a picture of him beaming into the camera. It had been decided she would be buried with him under the willow.

(Sing lullaby)

And she attended her funeral and saw a guest she didn't expect. She ran threw her own body and wrapped her arms around Fabian.

"I said I'll love you till I die, but I still do." he said.

"I love you too Fabian. Ashamed it took us too long to realize it though..."

"You were well worth the wait Nina."

And as they kissed a light appeared and they dissapeared. For good. And no one would know about how happy they were now. Finding each other in death.
