Authors note: I do not own any of the characters they belong to the people who created them originally. Lucky them - if they want they can buy me double glazing? Oh and solar panels for the roof so I can be more eco friendly and maybe they could buy me a small Scottish island?
He'd suffered from strange dreams during the night, of girls and men, of robots and parallel universes. He'd woken up, cheeks wet from tears and a deep ache within his chest, though not quite sure, he felt as if his heart was broken.
"I'm going to ban you from watching anything remotely sad in future, I should have known you'd dwell on it. She didn't die, and it's just a tv program love…" He turned into the hand now gently stroking away the tears from his face, gah he felt weak first thing in the morning. It was perhaps the only time he allowed himself to encourage the petting and comfort.
"I have no idea at all what you are babbling on about" the snippy tone was somewhat ruined by the chuckle from his partner.
"You talk in your sleep. No, sorry – let me rephrase that, you babble in your sleep my love, and bad wolf was mentioned. So nothing at all to do with the last episode of series two that you just had to watch again last night? You looked devastated when it finished, and then it's just a miracle and a strange coincidence that last night you were dreaming about bad wolf, Rose, Micky, the Doctor?"
He hated it his lover got all smart arse with him. The only reply to that was a snort and rolling onto his other side, making sure to pull the covers up over his head and fall back to sleep. Perhaps he could save her this time so the pairing would be together as they should be. After that he might write a scathing letter to Mr Russell T Davies, informing him of his asinine decision to replace Rose with that ninny Martha. Though he might interject that Torchwood was superb and maybe thank him for another series to look forward to. That's what he'd do. But first he'd save his favourite pairing, and leave his lover to bring the bin in, that'll teach him...
