A Marauder's Story: Sirius / Padfoot

[ Author's Note: This story is about Sirius' life in general, and I'm pretty happy with it. It's good. I'm going to do the Marauder's story for Remus, Peter, Lily, Arabella, and Tara. I already finished James. *It would be a good idea to read this after reading the Lily+MWPP=Forever fic* Anywayz, read and review, constructive criticism accepted. Thanks! *This one is from Remus' point of view*]

As Remus Lupin walked down Hogsmeade Street, he gazed at the shop's down the side. The Three Broomsticks, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Wizard Station-ary, Robe Time, Florean Fortescue's, Zonko's... He stopped at Zonko's, and on impulse, he went in. He had been quite familiar with the joke shop, mostly thanks to James and Sirius. The Marauders had been the troublemakers and pranksters of Hogwarts. As he stepped in, a familiar sense of thrill and excitement spread through him. He went in, gazing around and looking at all the tricks on display. Near the Power Dungbombs, he stopped.

Sirius had always had a particular liking for Dungbombs. His main goal in life was to cook up different ways of using them, mostly on Snape. The most "successful" trick was the time when Sirius decided that Professor Smoge, the mean and nasty Potions teacher, needed a little "natural perfume" in his classroom, or rather, dungeon. Sirius had placed around 30 Power Dungbombs in strategic places, such as Professor Smoge's chair, his drawers, his ingredients cabinet, behind the chalkboard, in the garbage can, in students' desks, and so on. The cream of the joke was that Power Dungbombs were invisible, and had timers. Near the beginning of the lesson, the dungbombs exploded, at the same time, engulfing the whole classroom in an untolerable odor. Since many of the bombs were placed near Professor Smoge, he fainted, causing the class to be dismissed as soon as it had started. Morever, Professor Smoge was bedridden for nearly 3 days, which was definitely sweet revenge.

Yes, Sirius was definitely a born troublemaker. There was no doubt about that. But he was also very smart. James and Sirius were in the top of the top student lists. Well, all the Marauders were. Except for Peter, of course. But that's a different story.

Sirius was loyal. He would never in his life have betrayed Lily and James. His loyalty was so deep that Remus admired him. He even endured twelve years in Azkaban, all for Lily and James. He was that loyal. Never in those 12 years had he felt bitter towards them. If Lily and James were to see him, they would surely have marvelled at his loyalty.

Sirius had been delighted when Harry was born. The little kid in him recognized the little kid in Harry.

With a shake of his head, Remus shook himself out of his reverie. Really! He was getting very nostalgic these days.

The shopkeeper's voice brought him back to earth. "Hello! If it isn't Remus Lupin! Oh 'ow I remember all the times you and James and Sirius came in 'ere. Ah, 'e was a nice boy, was Sirius. I don't believe 'e ever betrayed the Potters."

And Remus could only smile, and nod. The memories were too powerful.

[I'm being attacked by emotions. I visualize the Marauders, the real ones, James, Sirius, and Remus, and in my mind I feel so ... hard to describe. I feel like they were really close, so close, so powerful, such a good group. They were the best when they were together. Ok, I know this sounds dumb. But that's whats going on in my mind. Review the story please!]
