So this is my story still I'm just updating it because I know I can do a lot more with this story. I just at the time of first writing it, I didn't want to get into to many details, but I now realize that if I don't go into some details then some things won't make sense. I'm sorry if you are a bit confused in this chapter but i promise it gets better.

Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail!

Fairy Tail was loud and rowdy as any other day. A young woman sat at the bar listening to her guild mates argue amongst themselves. Her rosy pink hair was pulled back in a low ponytail but bounced gently with every movement she made, while her chocolate brown eyes watched carefully. She reached for her cup of hot tea before she blew on it a bit and took a drink. Blonde caught her attention from the corner of her eyes as she glanced over to see the busty blonde heading towards her. "Is something wrong Lucy?" She twirled in her seat a bit to face her friend while she continued to drink her hot tea.

"Ella, why did you leave so early in the morning? I thought you said that we'd come to the guild together today." She pouted as her lower lip plumped up a bit to try to prove her point as she crossed her arms over her busty chest.

"Ah, I'm sorry about that." She patted the seat next to her and watched Lucy sit. "I had a few things I had to do. And you wouldn't wake up either." She smiled at her as she took another gulp of her tea. "Can you believe it's already been a year since I've been summoned?" She pulled out a box out of her pocket and handed it to Lucy. "Here, this a present for you."

Lucy blinked as she took the box slowly and looked at Ella. "What is it?" When she saw Ella smirk, she opened the box and her eyes widened. Inside was a replica of Ella's key that had disappeared when she had appeared. "OH it's beautiful Ella. How did you get this? Better yet where?"

"Well I figured you missed my key and I had this made a while back but I waited till now to even think about giving it to you." Ella smiled to herself as she watched Lucy put it on. "It looks good."

"Thanks." She smiled back before she glanced over to Erza and Gray as they walked up to them. "Hey guys, back from a mission?"

Erza nodded as she held up a finger, "Yes, and I'm surprised neither of you wanted to go." She looked at her three teammates, they had become a team within the last year that Ella had joined. Ezra acknowledged Ella's power because she was a fellow S class mage.

"I didn't feel like it. Sorry." Ella only shrugged.

"And I had things I had to do." Lucy bowed her head a bit but they all laughed.

"Well I can tell you two, it wasn't as fun as normal. I did miss the arguing you two always do. It was too quiet." Gray smirked as he shook her head. It was true, the two argued like cats and dogs but when needed they could count on each other.

Erza held up a paper as she quieted the group down. "Let's take on a mission."

"Sorry, Lucy and I have something to do. It's been a year since I joined so I planned on taking Lucy on a special mission." Ella held a hand up to stop Erza from asking more about it.

Gray tilted his head as he noted the key around Lucy's neck, "I see, it's already been a year. Time sure flies doesn't it." He still remembered when she had first appeared during one of their missions, she had saved all their lives. It was only after the fight that the three had learned anything about her, which still wasn't much, but that she even had no key anymore. The biggest surprise to Lucy was that she could travel freely between the two worlds on her own whim. "Is there any chance we can tag along? I mean we were there also." He asked as he ran a hand through his hair not noticing by that point that he was only in his underwear. He hadn't ever admitted it, but he had a small crush on her when he had first met her.

"Wouldn't it be more fun with more people?" Lucy glanced over at Ella. She saw her straight face, she could never read her. That annoyed her sometimes because she acted out randomly a lot.

Ella finished her tea as she sat down the cup before she looked at the three of them. "Alright, why not. Like you said, you were there also. Let's meet at the train station at seven o'clock in the morning tomorrow. And pack light because we will be on the move." She winked at them before she got up and headed up the stairs to the S class floor.

As she got to the top of the stairs she saw the guild master sitting on a table drinking a mug of beer. He raised an eyebrow at her because he had overheard her conversation. "Has it really been a year since you showed up?" He chugged the rest of his beer and sighed in bliss at the buzz it gave him.

She laughed a bit as she sat in one of the chairs watching him, "Since I've been summoned by Lucy yes. But you know better old man." She gave a toothy smile as that caused both to laugh. "Speaking of the guild… what number are you now?"

He turned his head and glared down at her, "I am the 12th guild master. You better remember that." He tapped her on the head with his staff gently.

She only rolled her eyes at his actions, "Well I'm sorry, but I've seen too many guild masters since the 5th that most of them are just numbers to me. Though I believe you are the first to actually meet me upon becoming the master." She sighed gently as she closed her eyes a bit sad at the thought of remembering. "Sometimes I wish that I don't have to live like this. But then I remember my actions where done for the welfare of everyone I knew. I'm just afraid that it will all backfire. Everyone I knew from my time is dead, I only have this place in time."

He looked at her before he decided to change the subject, "Have you figured out where your father is yet?" He looked at his empty mug a bit sad that he couldn't have more till he went down and got some. He reached inside of his vest and pulled out a crystal lacrima that was in the shape of the Fairy Tail symbol and also glowing gold gently. It had been passed down through the masters for generations. He had been told by the pervious master that it was priceless and would play a role in something important someday.

Ella shook her head, "The exact area nope, but I have a feeling he will show up soon." She reached into a pocket and pulled out a glowing white key. "But its fine for now, I'm not too worried about it. I made sure he'd find the guild before he disappeared from the spirit realm all those years ago." She smirked before she placed the key back in her pocket before she looked back at the guild master. "Don't tell anyone anything about me. As you know I am just a regular member of the guild." She held up her arm, her guild stamp was gold in color and placed upon the upper, inner arm above the wrist.

"Are you sure it is wise to keep whom you really are from everyone? Even from Lucy? I mean she is the one whom summoned you." He knew more about Ella than most of the guild, but that is only because he had read the logs from the 5th guild master Guildarts. He had done a lot of research but had noticed that a lot of the members that he had now looked like the ones back in his time. And he had since then had a feeling that Ella was involved with everything somehow, but for now he'd leave it alone because the brats he had now where hard enough to handle.

"It's true she held my key, but my key was special. I couldn't appear until she absolutely needed me, and when she did I was able to summon myself using the key. I am still a human over top of everything else even though time in the worlds flow different." Ella waved her hand in the air a bit.

He laughed a bit before he hopped off the table with his empty mug and headed towards the stairs. "Oh don't worry about anything, I won't tell anything. Though how has it been going with Loke? I haven't seen him in the guild recently." He smirked when he saw her eyes narrowed annoyed.

"Don't get me started on that spirit. He's such a playboy and it annoys the hell out of me." He crossed her arms over her chest as she grumbled under her breath.

He smiled at her before he headed down the stairs seeing his guild messing around, he really did feel like something was missing so he'd let Ella do what she wanted. He knew she'd do it regardless anyway. She had told him that she had gotten it from her father, and it wasn't always a good habit to have because it had gotten her into many hairy situations in her past.

She continued to sit there listening to the roars of the guild, she felt tears prick at the corner of her eyes but wiped them away before she sighed loudly before she got up and walked to the railing. She overlooked the guild as she thought back to the first time Lucy had actually been able to completely summon her.

Lucy was being held by the throat by a giant creature. Erza and Gray where busy holding their own against the ones coming after them. They couldn't do anything to help Lucy and they were nervous because she wasn't moving anymore. "LUCY!" Gray yelled loudly as he brought up a shield in between him and the creature. He turned around but didn't get far as his ice shield was shattered and he was slammed to the ground hard.

"Shit." Erza said as she dodged an attack but didn't see the other come until it was too late as she was hit from behind and went flying a crossed the battlefield near Gray. This was supposed to be an easy mission, yet something had gone terribly wrong.

The creature holding Lucy laughed as it felt her moving less and less by that point. "This will be a good meal." It laughed along with its friends but a sudden light made it drop Lucy to cover its many eyes. "Light Hurt." It whimpered low.

Ella stood there with Lucy in her arms as her eyes narrowed dangerously. "Are you the one who has hurt her?" She asked simply hearing the creature keep whimpering from the light. She placed Lucy down in a safe spot before she turned and charged at the monsters.

A smirk came upon her face as she remembered the joy of beating those stupid creatures nearly to brink of death. It was something she hadn't had the pleasure of doing in a very long time. Ella shook her head a bit before she pulled out a paper from her pocket reading over it. It was the special mission she was taking them on. "I do hope that you are there." She whispered low before she folded it up and placed it back in her pocket. Pulling away from the railing she decided to head down the stairs to mingle with her friends till dusk.
