"Damn it! I wish I never met you, sakaya!" Mitoku screamed over the rapid bullets. Sakaya smirked while holding 3 year old natalie.
"You know you don't mean that, babe." Mitoku rolled her eyes. "Tch, how the hell did we get into this mess in the first place?" "well, you got pregnant with nat over here and then the elders found out and they got angry that a half-breed would be born. So, they ordered their army to try and kill you and this little one, but you moved away and had cutie over here in peace, but they..." "I wasn't talking about the war, stupid. I was talking about this whole situation. The meeting, the introduction, the passionate love making, the pregnancy, moving away, the birth, bumping into you again, us being a family, finding out what you are, and now this. How did this all begin in the first place?"
Sakaya smiled understandingly and started tickling her "cute little boy" to calm her down. "Well, I guess you'll have to blame my little brother for that one, baby mama." Mitoku rolled her eyes again. "Don't call me that again, baby daddy, but I guess it wasn't completely taku's fault. He only wanted us to get along."
Sakaya nodded remembering a time where her younger brother begged her to hang out with mitoku for at least a day.
"You know, I kinda miss him." Mitoku said smiling sadly.
"I know how you feel, babe. I miss him too. Sigh, I just wish he didn't risk his life for us." Sakaya said trying to fight the tears welling up at the corner of eyes at the thought of her deceased brother.
"I love you, sakaya. Please come back home safely." Mitoku cried holding tightly onto sakaya's shirt. Sakaya's eyes widened at the sight and instinctively put her free arm around mitoku's waist.
"I promise mitoku, I will come back." She swore. Pulling back slightly and a kiss on natalie's forehead she handed the baby over to mitoku. "Take good care of your mom for me, k'ay kiddo? You're the man of the house now, got that little boy?"Sakaya said sternly towards natalie.
Mitoku giggled wiping her tears away with one hand and carrying natalie in the other. "Sakaya, stop teasing our daughter and calling her a boy. She may look like a boy but she has the body of a girl to prove her looks wrong." Mitoku said scolding sakaya.
Sakaya smiled and hugged her girls one last time. As she was about to leave she heard something that brought her to tears.
"Bye daddy, I wuv you." Natalie waved smiling.
Sakaya cried as soon as she got a good distance away from her home. Thoughts of her wife and child filled her mind as the tears ran down her face. After a while the only thing on her mind was where did everything go wrong?
