True Leaders

Author's Note: this is a one shot moment between two friends not slash between Gus and TJ after the mission at the school to save Summer vacation.
Gus is sitting at the pond with the others. He throws a rock at the pond as TJ went up to Gus.
"Hey, may I sit with you"? TJ asks Gus. Gus looks at TJ. "Sure TJ", Gus said to TJ.
TJ looks at Gus. "The others told me how you took charge before the mission got started". TJ said to Gus.
Gus looks at the others and then looks at TJ. "I guess it had to he done TJ". Gus said to TJ.
TJ looks at Gus. "Are you kidding, you walked up to Bradley with a cold stern look on your face. Then you said a momentum speech that could have easily been taken out from my play book". TJ said to Gus.
Gus smiles as he looks at TJ. "Yeah I suppose I did, TJ". Gus said to TJ. TJ grins at Gus. "If anything Gus, you are a true leader despite being afraid of most things". TJ said to Gus.
Gus grins back at TJ. "Thanks, to tell you the truth, when you contacted us and then lost contact, I knew I had to step up and become a leader. It's like the time that I took on that bully by myself". Gus said to TJ.
TJ looks at Gus. "You have a lot of guts to stand up to that guy, Gus. Plus you have come a long way since the day you came to this school, Gus. Plus I do recall the time that your old persona, El Diablo made a come back". TJ said to Gus.
Gus grins as he looks at TJ. "Thanks TJ", Gus said to TJ.
The others walk towards them. "There are our two leaders talking". Vince said to them. "Yeah one that is fearless and the other one is full of courage". Mikey said to them. Spinelli looks at Mikey. "Yeah, yeah, I have to hand it to Gus though. Who would have thought that he pulled the mission off like that". Spinelli said to them. Gretchen looks at them. "I agree with that Spinelli". Gretchen said to them. TJ and Gus looks at them.
Gus grins as he realizes that he has become a leader. Sure he didn't have the skill of coming up with a plan at moments notice, but he does have a leader in him just like TJ does.
