I just finished watching that 70s show and I loved it. This is basically a T7S fic loosely based on the movie 10 things I hate about you. I hope you enjoy x

"Donna Pinciotti to the Principal's office, please." The voice echoed around the hall. Donna stubbed out her cigarette on the wall she was currently leaning against and trudged to the head teacher's office.

She hadn't been smoking for long- just since her Mom had left a few months ago. Up until then she had been good, had never been called to the Principal's office up until recently. When her Mom had left her father for another man, though, her mind set had completely changed. She was no longer the "Straight A cheerleader" now she was "Bad girl Donna." At first she hadn't really liked the name, but she had grown to love it.

"Donna, we have heard a few complaints from a few of the students and- as you know- have to take action."

"What is it this time, Ms. Perky? Disrupting class? You know, I was actually making a valid statement. Why can't God be a girl?"

The teacher smirked, amused by the red-head, but she shook her head and replied. "A young man claims he saw you smoking on school grounds. That is against the rules Miss Piciotti and I will unfortunately have to call your father."

Donna frowned. Her father would go ballistic. "Ms. Perky, I understand you have a reputation to uphold, but our family has been going through a real hard time. My mother just recently left us and I really don't want to add to the burden my father is currently carrying. I swear, if you promise not to call him, this will never happen again."

The Principal gave Donna a sympathetic smile. "Alright, I'll let you off just this once."

"Thank you and- like I said- I promise I won't do it again." With that, Donna strolled out of the room with a smirk on her face. She had totally nailed it.

As she raced down the stairs she collided with something hard, arms lacing around her waist. "Hey, watch it!" She shouted at the stranger, but then she looked up- if she had been standing up-right she would have been looking down- and saw a kind face staring at her.

"Hi, I'm Eric." He introduced himself. "I just moved her from New York City."

Donna was amazed. People usually ran from her, but this boy didn't know her- or think he knew her- and that was nice. "Hi, Eric, I'm Donna." Then the red-head realised Eric still had his arms wrapped around her and it was kind of awkward. "You can let go of me now, you know?"

But I don't want to, Eric said to himself- or, at least, he thought he'd said it to himself- "I... uh… yeah… sorry." He replied. She giggled and he swore it was the most heavenly thing he had ever heard.

"Look, Eric, I've got to get to class, but I'll see you around."

With that she left.
