Poem was written almost 15 years ago. I found it recently in an old folder. I am not a writer, so I hope it's not that bad. It's basically Elrond thinking about his life with Celebrian before sailing to Valinor.
I remember
I knelt before you
And asked for your hand
I remember
Holding you
Looking into loving eyes
Touching silver hair
Braids dancing in the summer breese
And I asked for you soul
You gave it to me
I enclosed it
With both hands
I wished to treasure it, keep it safe
So it would not break
I gave you my soul
Our songs entwined
Your voice
Sweet and soft
Like a southern wind
That sings softly
On a summer afternoon
I held in my arms
Two sons with my hair
And your eyes
My happiness complete
Then a daughter
Beautiful as the evening sky
Your last gift to me
In these accursed lands
Then pain, torment
Your body crushed
Your soul shattered
Our Bond broken
My heart bled looking upon you
I had to let you go
The distant shores
Where you would find healing
And remember our love
My time here is ending soon
A daughter I will leave behind in loving arms
A piece of me will linger here
Untill the world is remade
I cannot linger much longer
The gulls are calling in my dreams
The sea is restless
And so am I
White shores
I see before waking eyes
And there you will be
Waiting for me, whole again
My Silver Queen
So that our souls be joined again
Our Bond and Love renewed
We will meet again soon
