it was a feeling of great dread that came over me when I saw my brothers falling to these heretical traitor marines but in a moment of clarity I gained courage so I began to rise I looked upon the field and saw squads of chaos marines here in there and a corrupted free Blade knight the dread quickly came back to me only to me dispersed for the final time that day
I saw the fallen body of brother Andros an assault marine and next to him his thunder hammer, I waited for an opening in the hail of bolter fire and when one opened, I charged like a mad man I discarded my bolted and combat knife, the entire left arm of my power armor was gone as was the right shoulder piece,
I made for the hammer I felt the adrenaline pumping through my veins and my pace quickened like never before, before I knew it I was mere meters from the hammer WIthout breaking stride and keeping pace I gripped the hammer it was heavy but I enjoyed the weight in my hands, I looked over to the chaos knight
I could tell something was off with it the stubber it was equipped with was damaged and it's void Shields were not active but every other weapon it had Functioning,
I made leaps and bounds towards it then it turned it's head to gaze upon me it started shooting it's melta cannon at me all the shots missing but as they slammed in to the ground they flung unavoidable shrapnel in to me but it mattered not I continued on towards the knight, it was standing near a sturdy looking plasteel building,
I bounded towards it propelled my self up via leaping off the wall of the building and as I came to the hight of the knights head I swung with All I could muster and time seemed to slow as the hammer made contact with metal making up the head of the knight it seemed to crumble the lenses in the sockets of the knight's head began to shatter
and I heard the heretical precepts inside scream a death scream that sounded so painful it brought a very large smile to my face, you see the last time I smiled that big it was when first got in indoctrinated into the blood ravens,
back to the present moment the knights head fell from the body and my self with it as it fell I became trapped under it but I was not in danger
for I heard my brothers let out a warcry so loud it shook the very ground and I laughed and laughed as the traitors fled in terror.
Then all went dark
