Poem: Christmas at Hogwarts

Eiko: another cheesy christmas poem.

Skye: indeed

HP xmas

While the ghosts sang silent night,
In the courtyards misty air,
It made a quite impressive sight,
They wore ghostly holly in their hair.

Running to the Christmas Tree,
Set up in Hogwarts Hall,
Harry, Ron and Hermione,
To sing till night did fall.

Looking forward to Christmas Morn,
They left the hall with glee,
Presents with wrappings to be torn,
They couldn't wait to see.

But as they went to leave the hall,
Who emerged from the door?
They stopped and stared at Santa Claus,
Who was really Dumbledore.

He looked so strange dressed all in red.
Said as he handed round the gifts,
"You really should all be in bed,
Do you want the reindeer to give you lifts?"

As they ran to the dorms, taken aback,
Ron stopped dead in the hall,
"What's that standing by Hagrids shack?"
He asked as snow started to fall.

They turned to look as up in the sky,
Eight reindeer went past in flight.
When the real Santa shouted as he flew by,
"Merry Christmas, and now, goodnight!"
