Chapter 1
Kel woke up with a start when she heard banging at the door. Damn people who don't know how to let people get their sleep! She got up to answer the door. She opened the door to let in a sleepy Neal who almost falling on top of her.
"Neal what are you doing here this late at night?"
"Guess what my dear Yamane flower is coming in an hour and she has special news for me!"
"YOU WOKE ME UP JUST TO TELL ME THAT!" She yelled.
"Yeah, but she also said to wake you up because she has some important news from the king." Neal said cowering in the corner.
"Well if she said to wake me up for news from the king then fine," she said suddenly in a good mood.
She pushed Neal out the door and shut it in his face.
"OWWW! You hit me in the nose!"
She ignored him and put on some breeches and a tunic. She grabbed her glaive and a few daggers just in case and was out the door.

Kel could see a large group of people riding in the distance.
"I thought you said Yuki was coming, not anyone else."
"Well Yuki said that New Hope needed some more protection so she asked the Third Company of the Kings Own and you know who's in that company? Dom is! So now you don't have to feel so lonely!"
"Neal I told you a thousand times that me and Dom are not courting!"
"What you're breaking up with me?" An all to knowing voice said.
"Dom good old cousin of mine. Yes Kel is breaking up with you and going for a more handsome man as myself!"
"If you did that then I would have to kill some one to get you back." Neal turned around grabbed Yuki then kissed her passionately. All the men from the Own were cheering and clapping.
"Okay, I have some good news and some bad news--" Yuki was interrupted when a man yelled,
"Keep it down out there! Some people have to work tomorrow ye know!"
"Guess we'll have to go to bed now."
Kel showed them their rooms. Then there was only Dom left but there was know other rooms available.
"Dom I'm sorry but there's no other rooms so you'll have to..."
"I know sleep out side in a tent."
"Actually no you have to share a room with somebody well Wolset is with Qasim and Lerant is with..."
"Kel the only people who are not sharing is you and Neal and I'm not going to sleep in Neal's room 'cause what if Yuki..."
"Ya, I get what you mean and with there wedding coming up you don't know what they might do. So then you have to share with me. Come on bring you're things I'll show you the way.

"Good our plan is working. That new guy took Dom's room so then Dom has to be with Kel. They have to fall for each other soon."
"Neal why do you always have to play match maker? Last time you set Dom up with a married women and he almost got beaten to death by her husband."
"I know but it was fun watching him get beating up for once. I should do that more often. Ow! I have it when you hit me with that fan of yours."
"Well you'll get hit more often if you don't stop bothering Kel and Dom!"
